Skyfall and Hard Target

I've been on a Van Damme kick lately and when I was re-watching Hard Target (1993) there were scenes that reminded me of Skyfall. Namely when Van Damme decides to return home while being pursued by the badguys. He reunites with his wacky old uncle and finds his childhood shotgun. Then they booby trap the place, while the old uncle escorts the lady off premise.

Thinking about it there is a great old episode of " The Equaliser " where
Edward Woodward, attacked in a cabin has to used household items
As weapons etc. ) Although as one critic pointed out, that might
Have more to do with watching " Blue Peter" for years. )
