Least favorite Bond film in the 70s?

This is probably my least favorite decade on the Bond films, but TSWLM was the best IMO.
Least favorite is TMWTGG.

Yeah it was a tie between MR & TMWTGG but IMO MR had a decent first half

I just watched DAF yesterday, i don't like it as much as the other 70's entries because of the production values and Connery is too long in the tooth to be playing Bond.

Since you feel that way, how do you feel about Roger Moore playing Bond at his age in the seven movies that came after DAF?

I rather have Connery in DAF than any other Moore bond film besides TSWLM & FYEO.

I mean long in the tooth physically. He's out of shape in this compared to when he started out in Dr No. Not his fault though, they were in a rush to get him back to play Bond and he didn't have the time to get in shape. I'm cool with his age.

He doesn't seem to be enjoying being Bond in the film. Seems really bored, which is another reason why i don't enjoy this film.

Yes I meant that TSWLM & FYEO are Moore's best movies as Bond :))

Yes it is amazing the Change in Connery in four years. As for my
Least favourite 70's Bond would be a coin toss between MR &
Golden Gun. I'd go for TMWTGG, because Moonraker has a great
J Barry score, some fantastic K Adam sets beautiful cinema photography
    and looks stunning. :D

DAF hands down. The lowpoint of the EON series imo.
Connery looked older than Moore in AVTAK.
President of the 'Misty Eyes Club'.

Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!

Apart from his Ability to shoot you through the Head from the far Side of Wembly Stadium, Scaramanga was quit a dull Villain. I think that if he was more in line with his Novel Counterpart, then his Character would had been more interesting. :)

I never quite liked TSWLM. A total remake of YOLT, but with a tanker instead of a volcano and a lotus instead of the small helicopter. Moore is quite good in it, finally finding the tone for his performance and the PTS is one of the best. Apart from that and Barbara Bach, is my least favourite.

Maybe that, or DAF. Bloefeld yet again, but played by the least charismatic of them all, Charles Gray. And you can tell Connery was thinking about money, and bored as could be.

Simple. He never visited a gym again, he ate and drank what he pleased, because he didn't think he would play Bond again. That and the grey-ish hair. He didn't look the part anymore, he looked like a middle age man in his late 40s-50s, not an action man in his 30s-early 40s.

I suppose it's okay for a Roger Moore Bond, but I like FYEO and OP more. I just have a hard time with Roger Moore's portrayal of Bond. And as I have acknowledged before, it's not all his fault because it's clear that he was givig the producers what they wanted. Just not my cup of tea.

DAF is definitely Connery's worst IMO,but I rather watch it than TMWTGG. Both are campy but Connery seems a bit happy in the role while Moore looks confused. :))

Another vote for Moonraker here. I wonder if it should be classified as sci-fi instead ...

What's worse is that the novel Moonraker is a masterpiece and, in my view, Fleming's best work. Pity EON had to go and ruin it all.

Wow, I'm utterly amazed that anyone answered with ANYthing other than Moonraker. I mean...guys...c'mon...it's MOONRAKER. It's the movie where a pigeon does a double take and a blonde girl in pigtails joins an assassin in flying to outer space and witness the entire world be destroyed (after knowing him for precisely 12 hours).
