Then Bond came back. A new slicker faster Bond. Seen in Madagascar at a cobra fight. He came back in 2006. There were have spirited Bond adventures up to present day )

I am always getting annoyed when 007 mows down the baddies with an automatic weapon.
This is not what 007 is about imo.

With this I wholeheartedly agree. One of the saving graces of TMWTGG is that Bond only kills one person, Scaramanga, in the whole movie.

So I'm still not 100% sure whether we're making up opinions we don't have just for provocation, or if we're stating our real opinions that are typically unpopular. I'll go with the latter and give some of my opinions that some people think I'm crazy for having:

1. I love AVTAK.
2. Jaws is a crap-tastic henchman. Seriously, can't anyone just shoot him in the chest? Why in the world would Bond aim for his teeth? He's HUGE and therefore the easiest target in any Bond movie to HIT.
3. I think "Goldfinger" is a terrible song and an even worse title. Seriously. "Goldfinger"? What a stupid name! If that weren't an existing title and they named Bond 24 "Goldfinger," the fanbase would implode with anger and disgust.

I can't really recall any overtly negative opinions of Connery's Bond. However, there are certainly those who disagree with the fact (that's the controversial part) that Connery is hands down the best Bond there ever was period. Let the fireworks begin! )

I'll take Rogers second half (80s) over his first half (70s).

Brosnan could have been fantastic (top 2-3) if given better material to work with, or better villains.

And BL, I'm with you all the way on Connery, but I still like all the Bonds.

Goldfinger is a lil overrated.
Don't get me started on AVTAK(worse bond movie ever). Half of Stacey's lines are just to scream.
BL is right about SEAN CONNERY IS BOND, but Dalton is too.
