I'm going to say one that even with this thread's title might be too extreme. It's difficult...
I like better NSNA than TB.
There, I said it. I feel better. I've been holding that inside for too long 8-)
Don't worry my friend! That's a perfectly valid opinion. There are some things NSNA does so much better than TB.
*Better Largo
*Better title song
*WAAAY better Felix
*More psycho femme fatale
etc
Have to disagree lads, NSNA is nowhere near as good as TB
Only my opinion but NSNA was the only Bond I got bored watching.
I prefered the original Largo and thought Barbara Carrera really
Badly over acted.
It has some good points sure, a better Leiter, Ed Fox as M was fantastic.
But give me TB, anytime. {[]
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
If BL agrees with me, you're out of our "men of taste" club- if he agrees with you, I'm out! )
I love the music from TB and always have done (for nearly fifty years!), while finding NSNA's score no more than tolerable at best with the title song being the best part (though not a patch on either TB or MKBB).
My club " The League of Extraordinary Average Blokes" is
Always looking for members .
I personally hate, yes hate the soundtrack to NSNA X-(
Insipid elevator music, bland with no connection with what
Is happening on screen. A bit like the early Dr Who incidental
Background music. Just awful !

The score pretty much sucks eggs, but the song is one that I actually quite like. You may now sue me. )

Apart from the title song, and the lack of Bond music of course, I agree with the rest. Kim Basinger as Domino, Barbara Barrera as Fatima, Klaus-Maria Brandauer as Largo...much better cast. Action scenes and stunts up there with the official series too.
Also, I always found boring the long underwater battle scenes in TB.
The song is not bad, actually I quite like it. For a fair comparison, given changing music styles, let's take OP's "All time high". I like NSNA better.
He was seriously considered in the early 80s yes, probably after seeing him in "The year of living dangerously". His character's name in that movie is "Guy Hamilton" no less!
The interview is really interesting when Connery reveals pre-production conversations regarding Bond's look in NSNA. Wig or no wig? beard? Intriguing. They finally realised they had to go with the classic Bond look.
Gibson , although a talented actor, has always had a problem
With his drinking ( he can't get enough) , mixed with his rather
Extreme religious and political views. I for one think the Bond team
Dodged the bullet by not hiring him !
As for Connery he looks amazing with or without a beard, one of the
Things I have in common with him. )

Craig's films make NSNA's no gun barrel totally acceptable.
How about that? :007)

Agree about the gunbarrel.
I'm watching this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdNoovrhVt0 very interesting interview with Connery from the period.
