    There no Match for the bottom of my DC Trainers :))

    You'd be surprised. Many report how hard they are to kill just stomping on them! Not saying you can't, but usually it has to be done a number of times...they're like zombies and cockroaches.

    The thought of one of those crawling up your body, stopping
    At a few sensitive places. I'm shivering, just thinking about it. :)

    This is going to sound odd, but I love Spiders, will not kill one. In fact
    I've told both my kids that they do a great job killing other insects ( The
    Spiders, that is not my daughters :)) ) although my youngest girl has
    A real phobia of them. :# so I have to chuck them out a window. :D

    :))

    Chucking them out of a Window is a bad Idea. This normally bursts there Abdomens upon landing, and the House Spiders cannot survive properly in outside Conditions.

    :)) I have been told that, but you have to do it to calm down
    A steaming teenager. :)) she HAS to see it put out of the house. :D
    I really feel sorry for them, as you only see the males as it's mating
    Time. So the poor horny Bast*rd is only out looking to get his legs over.
    Next he's free falling from 10,000 feet. :))

    The Library had an old tattered Copy of Moonraker, that had been there since the School had opened in the 60's.

    There is an old conspiracy theory that that big explosion in Russia
    Way back in the 1900s was a Teslar Coil used as a weapon ! :))

    Interesting theory and they would make a good Bond villain superweapon, wouldn't they? :) -{

    I was just reading the squid scene from DN again to refresh my memory. Including it in the film (assuming they'd had the budget for it) would have altered the course of strange absurdity in the Bond films forever IMO.
    But in the novel it was really cool. -{
    Dalton & Connery rule. Brozz was cool.

    The one detail that did slightly not go down to well ,was Bonds fight with the giant squid (wot squid I hear some cry)
    now these veracious monsters of the deep would tear you too shreds,as soon as look at you. For Bond to fight it off
    with a humble dinner knife ,was a bit hmmmm for me :#. But a fantastic read non the less.

    My apologies for being pedantic, but I'm sure Bond killed the squid with the wire spear from the grill he put together when he was captive. Yes, he did have a dinner knife and a lighter when trying to escape but I'm sure he had a crooked spear as well.

    Regardless, it is a fantastic novel that I thoroughly enjoyed and I would rate it as one of (if not) my favourite Fleming (Bond) novels along with TB, OHMSS and YOLT.
