2 miles! That's one hell of a shot, I wish they gave details of what he's using gun wise. Probably 50mm. Obviously technology is making these huge ranges more accessible but still, that guys got skill.
I've hit things at over 200 meters but not consistently, I was always more accurate with a handgun.
Kill at 2 miles that is a good shot - well done that man!
I was always in awe of our snipers the course was tough and pass criteria shooting wise was hard. But they certainly know their stuff and are a real asset on the ground either taking it to the en or delaying their advance.
Personally I could no be doing with all that crawling around and taking pot shots. Much preferred getting up close and using cold steel if I had too.

My name is Bond, Basildon Bond - I have letters after my name!
I simply amazed that you can pull a trigger and then wait about ten seconds
For it to hit the target !
One of the common mistakes for most new firers thinking pulling the trigger equals shot arrival at target. There is such a thing of time in flight obviously shorter the closer you are. But some pull the trigger and lower the barrel before the round has even left the end - then wonder why they are dropping shots or shooting low!
The calculations these guys do in some cases is insane but it gets results and some are just experts in using their own judgement, reading the wind or environment and still hit the target. I had a friend who was the latter and you could not help but be impressed.

On shots like this guy made they calculate gravity, windage even curvature of the planet. I've known a couple of snipers one still works in private security for the Americans supplying cover. these guys just have an almost mystic quality.
I think the longest distance for a sniper kill in WWII was 1200 m. The reccord belongs to two snipers: an American on Okinawa and Soviet sniper in Stalingrad.
It is one HELL of a kill, I wonder how many shots he had to take and if the target was stationary (a sniper, heavy weapons guy, a spotter, a uav operator......)
If it was a "talkin' and walkin' grunt" it was out of this world!
The longest target I've hit was a 600m reactionary (a man sized target), at urban sharpshooter basic (not a real sniper course mind you) and for me that was difficult enough with TKIV85, a riff on WW2 era Mosin-Nagant in 7,62*53. And I've never really killed anything that moves on two feet.....
My hat is off for that bloke!

I was wondering...(this isn't an airsoft thread but here goes)...if I bought a Maruzen Airsoft PPK, which bakelite grips would I have to use with it? The german ones or the american ones?
The only reason for me to ask this, would be if I wanted to achieve a Licence To Kill look for the PPK (which is my favourite variant of Bond's PPKs)

I would say the American ppk/s grips, but I doubt they would fit. I have no knowledge of the gun you mentioned but I think it's based on the ppk/s

Neither....the LTK PPK had Walther factory option unbranded wood grips:

I thought so but have no knowledge of airsoft weapons, I didn't imagine they share anything other than basic shape with a walther ppk or American ppk/s
Drone sharks would work, and now technology has made it possible.
I think and assasination using the insect drone could work very well, and it would be an nice nod to the assassination in the Eiffel Tower in AVTAK.

I just assumed Barrett as in tp's link it says the Canadians were operating with the US forces and the US guys used the barretts a lot.

This micro drone has a camera and a hypodermic needle!
......and of cource the US Navy shark drone :007)
For a modern Thunderball, this could be just the thing!

7 Cool Gun Invention You Need To See In 2017
Is there and has there ever been an American underwater gun?
Later it was replaced with the German Heckler & Koch P11. Do they still use it?
