Mint condition vintage 1965 James Bond Spy Watch from Gilbert

20140912_173154.jpg

Came across this in an old crawlspace in my home. I have done a fair amount of research on this item and I understand it is pretty rare. I would like to sell this to someone who has a genuine appreciation for it (as opposed to my local collectables store who told me it wasn't worth crap but they'd take it off my hands). I created this account just for this post, so I'm not sure what to expect from this, I was just wondering if anyone has any information on this piece, was interested in buying this, or directing me to where I can sell this.
much appreciated!

    I would start off by taking more - and as detailed as possible - pictures...I have no idea how rare/valuable this is...I'm sure some on here will though -{

    Thanks for the response! Will do. I just snapped a quick picture just to see if anyone recognized it. It's just so pretty and very noticeably untouched so I've been handling it like a baby bird! haha
    I found this amongst other neat items (some may also be Bond related, will check again soon) and grabbed it with the sole intention of wearing it, had no idea just how cool it was!

    This is one of those items where the object itself isn't so rare but in an undamaged -- as yours appears to be -- clear styrene case is indeed hard to find.

    Gilbert made a number of character watches, this one is probably the most elaborate.
