Last Sunday, Her Majesty's DBS once again appeared at the charity event Danville d Elegance, with a number of Aston Martins.
Making their debut at the event were the newly refurbished AR-7 stock and scope, the Gucci bag, the Atlas, and Nighthwk Driving Glasses, all of which have been discussed on other threads.
Now, they all came together, and as usual, drew large crowds. Our OHMSSDBS.com team of 4 were busy all day, as this car generates a huge level of interest at these events. Even the DB5 owner, an AMOC organizer, walked over and was speaking about how we outdrew all the other Astons combined!
The general public has really turned the corner on the film OHMSS, and it was very satisfying to even have teenagers walk up and tell me that they know what the car is, and are very interested in the DBS!
When the event ended, we were one of the last 3 cars to leave, as we still had spectators talking with us well into the evening.
Thank you again to my AJB brethren for all your help and advice on securing these props.
The public really love OHMSS and the heraldry associated with the film and the car.
Enjoy the pics!

This photo is from last year, and the event used our car for the website!
The DB5 is a 1965 proper RHD model, with black interior, and the correct Talbot mirrors. The owner is an AMOC chairman, who drives the car regularly. I spoke with him at length about making the car into a Goldfinger replica, and he agreed to the ejector seat as long as we did not tell his wife!
Another lifelong project of mine is to do a photographic journal of Amanda slicing salame. So far, we have 3 countries, seven cities, and one borough!
