Anything Bond Related in Orlando, Florida

Hi

I just got married on Saturday and now just arrived in Florida, can anyone advise on anything Bond Related to do, I am considering the Dezer Collection albeit it's in Miami. Also fancy trying a gun range when out here as there is a lot we can't shoot in the Uk.

If anyone can give any advice on where else that is worth going to that would be great.

Bond Collectors' Weekends

Hi Ross,

Several of us on this forum are nearby in Gainesville, Deland, Port Orange, Orlando, Tampa... I organize gatherings of fans for movie screenings, museum shows and etc. Two weeks ago a dozen of us got together to watch Goldfinger and visit a private Bond memorabilia collection. Send me a PM. There are also locations to visit in the Sunshine State, about seven Bond films have Florida scenes and several books take place here.

If you go down south there is an excellent range in the Okeechobee area its one of my favorites in Florida
I believe its called the OK Corral gun club.

in the Orlando, International drive area, there are a few gun ranges ,where you can shoot basically most weapons ,If you go to Kennedy space centre you can go inside a space shuttle (moon raker), its worth going even if your not into space stuff. I went into the national police museum not far from Kennedy, you get in for free if you are police ,and they have an indoor range there ,where they tempt you with some awesome stuff(its a cop hang out joint) Go to Epcot (Disney)
there is a ride there called mission to Mars, its about as close as we will get on going into space again Moonraker type stuff,Go to Alamo and hire a Mustang (DAF) .Go to Orlando premium outlets down the i4 (eye four) get all your Bond clothes there, Levis, 7 of mankind,Prada, Tom Ford sunglasses .Hope this helps

There's a few of us Bond people here in Orlando. The 3 closest movie locations are Silver Springs in Ocala, They filmed several Bond scenes there. Of course as mentioned Kennedy Space Center. And a couple of hours away in Port Saint Lucie the Moonraker jungle boat chase scene was filmed.

We are going to go to a range but might look into the Police Museum already been to 7 of mankind and Levis and made some purchases for both myself and my lovely wife.
Although I do want to visit Prada too, I already have three pairs of Tom Ford glasses with me lol
We will decide if we will go to Miami next week and yes it would be an American car with a big engine, there is a Dodge Viper outside out hotel and that really takes my fancy.

I will let you know if we travel down scuzgar

You bet, Bill. And I've brought friends to over 50 other Bond locations in Florida as you know. Since I'm also close by, it's easy to put together a group to visit dozens of locations. I'm always game!
