With the recent pics of Dan in the Atlas Mountains and the confirmation of Morocco as a location for filming.
I saw this photo. Is Dan trying to let us know what the new watch will be?
It's hard to see exactly which watch he is wearing but it looks like another Omega Planet Ocean or the new Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial - but with a rubber / NATO strap.
It doesn't mean necessarily this will be the watch in the film, but sometimes it does offer a clue.

Tiffany Case: And which do you prefer?
James Bond: Well, as long as the collars and cuffs match...
I'd love it too, but I don't think Rolex will pay to have their watches used.
Did Omega pay to have their watch featured in GoldenEye? I have read that the costume designer Lindy Hemming decided to dress Brosnan in Brioni and have him wear an Omega to give him a more "European' look.
They should just stick to the PO in my opinion. Thoughts??
That said, like you, I prefer the Skyfall AT over the Master Co-Axial version, with the polished centre links and the date surround removed.
But, at this point, who knows?
That statement sounds more like "selling" the new franchise sponsor to the public by someone who is at the end of the day on EONs paylist.
At the time, Omega where willing to pay top $ to promote their watches - the Omega ambassadors (Cindy Crawford 1995) have just been invented. That was part of Omega's strategy about converting the watchmaker brand to an international luxury brand.
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Most likely Rolex would ask the Movie Production to pay for the honor.... )

I dare the production to go back to Seiko digital watches. )
I'd support that plan!
