Flood Control

I see the 60 second flood control limit on these posts. It gets a little annoying when I am trying to make multiple posts because I am fast at this.

I've ran forums and worked on forums in the past and very few of them had that long of a flood control. Anyway we can decrease it? I mean there aren't any spammers on this site, just users who are dedicated and loyal who contribute to good conversations.

Please consider.

Unfortunately we do get spammers on this site, and on behalf of Sir Miles, Hardyboy and myself I'd like to thank everyone who reports them so we can deal with it appropriately.
Secondly, our administrator Sico is the man who can make such changes as you suggest, but he has other commitments and doesn't check in regularly- I'd be happy to bring your idea to his attention.

Thank you Barbel. I mean you can even set special usergroups for certain flood controls if the forum software allows it.

I mean I make a post, scroll down into another topic, read and want to post. Sometimes it's less than a minute. Not sure.

I will look in to this and see if I can set up a user group for people that have been here x amount of time and set a shorter flood timer.
