    A member on another Bond forum describes it as a "Platte*, a boat used for transportations, used by fishermen in days of old. Nowadays more touristic.

    What do we know about Bond 24?

    Mendes needs to step on the gas if he wants this movie to come out as scheduled. If PP (that's principal photography, Thunderpussy) starts when scheduled on Dec. 6 (which now appears to be an open question) Mendes will be starting five weeks later in the year than Skyfall. And Bond 24 is scheduled to come out a week earlier in the year than Skyfall, so he has six fewer weeks to work with if they start on the 6th.

    I mention this because Mendes said that he was re-editing Skyfall right up until the release date, so he had no time to spare.

    I always thought DP meant "double parking", like when Bond pulls up to the villain's lair and he's in such a rush that he doesn't even bother to find a proper parking space. I'm no film connoisseur such as you, TP, but I suspect that's not what you're talking about! :))

    When you initially made the dancing reference, I thought it meant "double pliet". I'm so confused - I guess I'll never really know what "DP" means! :))

    Back on topic (before I am admonished by our esteemed mods), is there any more life to the rumor that Chiwetel Ejiofor is possibly going to appear in Bond 24 or has that been definitively shot down once and for all? I was so hoping it was true.
