Skyfall or 007 Legends?

Should Activision have done 007 Legends or instead just turned Skyfall into a game?

With the disaster that 007 Legends became (it pains me to say it as I love the earlier efforts of Eurocom), I think that they should have given it to Treyarch and let them do Skyfall as a whole instead. Quantum of Solace was a very solid game, so I think that they could have done Skyfall as well too.

So what do you think?

Quantum of Solace gave me motion sickness - I've never experienced that before playing a game!!

Skyfall should been adapted into a game, in my humble opinion. All of the other chapters of 007 Legends were only loosely connected in terms of an overall story. Plus as many people have noted in their reviews, Activison kept shoe horning in elements that belonged in a Call of Duty game and not James Bond(An example of this would be using the helicopter mounted M134 minigun during the attack on Piz Gloria which did not occur in OHMSS the film). While I do understand what Activison tried to do in honor of the franchises 50th anniversary, we as fans deserved a much better game this.

What I don't understand about that is GoldenEye Reloaded was the same as 007 Legends, yet Wii/Reloaded was praised while Legends was shredded, deserving sure. While I dislike 007 Legends, there were areas that it improved from Reloaded that I felt needed tweaking.

Also, I like what they were attempting to do, but ultimately it fell flat on it's face. They should have done Skyfall and had little nods to the 50th anniversary of the series, maybe like the gold and black symbols you had to find and shoot throughout GE Reloaded (similar to the intel in the Infinity Ward Call of Duty MW series), or nods in the multiplayer.

Agreed about GE Reloaded. What was weird is everyone was insisting that when the game came to PS3 and X360 that is was a relaunch/port of the Wii's relaunch. Reviewers would say "there is not much reason to get this game on PS3 if you already played it on Wii". Oh really? No ****!

And as the news media goes once the first reviewers says that every other that follows simply repeats. So annoying. Also annoying

Another annoying thing was everyone complained about DC replacing PB even though you only saw his face 2 or 3 times in the 10 or so hours of play. What is wrong with people!

I would say that it was due to all of the hype behind a HD re mastering of the original and the fact despite all of changes us fans/ gamer got including the switch of Daniel Craig for Pierce Brosnan as 007, I thoroughly enjoyed it for what it was, and every time I play it warts and all I really feel like I am James Bond 007 saving the world.
