far better then anything Barry or Arnold could've come up with.

That's a pretty bold statement. I have a hard time imagining anything topping Barry at his best, but we all have our opinions.

I loved GE's score, had it appeared in any other Bond film it would have been massive disaster. With the exception of the horrible car race music, I think it fits the tone and atmosphere of GE like a glove, far better then anything Barry or Arnold could've come up with.
After I had all four wisdom teeth extracted they gave me some oxycontin, and if I was on THAT now, I might agree with you. :))
Dalton & Connery rule. Brozz was cool.

It would take far, far more than that for me.

    I hated the GE score

It was kerplunky music at its best. The amusing car race bits at the beginning. Its too cold and metallic. There is no warmth to the score.

To me its the weakest score...

For me, I feel Goldeneye is the winner as well. Though I really enjoy TWINE.
Goldeneye as a certain feel to the film, something hard to describe, which makes it feel appealing. There is a freshness to it, there had been six years of no James Bond. Here's the link to the Goldeneye Overture, which always gets me in the mood to watch the Film. I like Brosnan's look in GE the most, and he comes across the most ruthless and Badass in his first film, then in the next three.

For me I'd have to say Goldeneye.

I enjoyed TWINE, but personally I think it's the women in GE that does it for me. Well and maybe Sean Bean.

I enjoyed the cool yet sadistic character of Xenia. I mean who wouldn't want to die between a girls legs? My beau jokes with me that's how he'd want to go should I ever decide to take him out. I liked the development of Natalya's character tremendously too. The beginning I felt I could relate to her - that state of helplessness/tragedy in an unexpected overwhelming situation and the feeling of unknowing when she escapes the bunker trying to survive. The fact that her character changes from a helpless civilian to a more confident female badass in the movie left an impact on me.

As for Bond, I felt Brosnan was more cold in GE and that he was a little too empathetic for my tastes in his other movies.

I think one other thing that makes me favor GE so much more is how much fun and memorable the N64 game was when it came out. I can go on and on about how much I loved that game... and the fact that they included that Tank chase scene.

Point taken. Still, he seemed a bit cold (if unevenly so) in TND IMHO. It was probably the vodka shots....

With novacane it doesn't actually hurt, but it's a bit weird to have people yanking stuff out of you. The pain comes after the fact. If they give you oxycontin for it, watch DAD right away- it will seem like a great film that way. And don't drive a car... :))

Man, that's actually a great idea. I will do that, have them extracted, then high on oxycontin I will have a Brosnan marathon. I might enjoy those movies for the first time!

ANY film you just like a bit will seem great that way. Just don't get hooked on it & try to live on it like Rush Limbaugh... 8-)

Just this one time after the extraction! (which I dread, really). Wait, maybe dentist, then a Brosnan marathon would be too much for me to bear...I've been watching too much Game of thrones lately I'm afraid.

Answering your original question, I think TWINE is the better Brosnan film. I like very much the story and the Elektra/Renard characters are fantastic. I also found original (then) that M was kidnapped and much more involved in the plot. If I could just wipe out from the film the Lara Croft character (or was it Christmas Jones, daughter of Indiana perhaps?) and everything she says/does, it would be an OK film.
