Hey guys. I was thinking of making some crew/ v neck shirts for myself. Would anyone be interested?

I am sure that EON would not enjoy unlicensed group orders here

EON should not be concerned as long as it's not made for commercial use. If you wont make any money out of it and the shirts will fall only in the hands of some ajb007 members it should not be a problem - that's from my own experience about creating stuff with licensed logos - pro bono rarely ends up in court. I made some stuff like wallpapers for smartphones before which contained the MI6 logotype and I charged like 5$ for every single one, now it's clear for me that it was illegal.

The copyright owner has always the right of course to prohibit creating this sort of things but that would be so called bad faith so eventually the court would probably not rule in their favour.

But that's just my opinion. :)

    Good points!
What about fan based film projects, like the chaps who did the YOLT Osato office tribute re encatment, and used the Barry soundrack?
Saw it on Youtube, and they did a really cool split screen to show the accuracy of their work.
What's the EON stance on this?

Another question is: if they don't sue, do they somehow reward efforts like that by fans?

    Cheers, Tom

Not sure about what you mention, GG but I can assure you that the "advise" from Mr. Z. to Eon (not to worry) will be ignored by them.
They certainly have their own expert point of view.

At the end of the day, they have the money and the lawers and can cover anyone with lawsuits until you give up - Kevin Mc C may be able to confirm this ;)

How do you know in advance if they decide to sue you or not?
As for rewarding - ask Star Wars fans about how they feel how their "efforts" have been honored by the mothership after they've been sued for breeching copyright.

Here are some shirts for sale, http://007tees.50webs.com/ If you dig around the site, this seller has other items like wall clocks, mugs and other clothing accessories with these logos.
