I actually almost didn't because his delivery of the one-liners was mostly lacking compared to every other actor, but in the end it's not that huge an issue for me that I couldn't list it.
Dalton & Connery rule. Brozz was cool.

Ok, so "Mango Tree" isn't the best song in a Bond film (it isn't even the best tune in DN).

Unfortunately, "Mango Tree" is the best song in DN.

Yes, the best song but it isn't the best tune!!! :D

" That's a charming tune, You do take English money ?"
    As Bond might say. ;)

    As Norman might say. :o

Casino Royale and From Russia With Love. I was going to say OHMSS however the moment Lazenby turns to the camer and says "This never happened to the other fellow" makes me cringe. :))

Those are among the best Bond films, but here is my Serious Single Problem with each:

FRWL: Made a hashwork of Fleming's original SMERSH plot so the movie doesn't makes sense.
    GF: The rape scene
OHMSS: Bond cheating on Tracy with several bimbos at the clinic.
TLD: Awful Felix Leiter. "What are you trying to do James, start WWIII?"
CR: The extended Ford Mondeo commercial.
    My current 10 favorite:

I don't have any issues with it. Like myself Bond is
An Alpha Male, and so needs plenty of female company.
If anything I think Bond showed great restraint ! :p :))

    Well, my turn then:

Dr. No .- soundtrack (except for Bond theme, which is overused), obvious lack of budget in some key scenes.
The Spy Who Loved me .- YOLT rip off. The end battle is too long. Curt Jurgens is a boring villain.
Tomorrow Never Dies.- IMHO, worst movie in the whole franchise. I would end way sooner saying what I don't have a problem with, but I would need to think long and hard before I come up with something.
The World is Not Enough.- Christmas Jones character (Lara Croft rip, simply 2D and unbelievable). I never liked Brosnan's Bond anyways.
Quantum of Solace.- I don't like Mathieu Amalric's villain or his lair in the desert. The ending is very ordinary.
Never Say Never Again.- No Bond Theme. Other than that, I like it better than TB.

As you can see, we disagree pretty much on everything, but as I say, that's the beauty of this franchise.

"He's from the school that loves and leaves them
A pity if it grieves them, Mr.Kiss Kiss Bang Bang"

Similar lyrics from a song that really is about Bond!

I liked the bit about " where ever I lay my hat" with Bond
Always throwing his hat onto the coat stand in Moneypenny's
    Office. ;)

This reflects what happens in the novel, though Bond does feel a twinge of guilt there.

:)) I think for older Bond fans our love of the films comes mixed with
So many memories. I love some of the films because I remember
Watching them with my Dad and seeing his excitement and love for
Them. One of my small Bond regrets is sadly he died before LTK was
Released, as he was a lorry driver, and know he would have got such
A kick out of seeing the fantastic truck driving in the final chase sequence. :)

I remember soon after seeing DAF & LALD first run my local theatre showed a Bond retrospective triple of DN, FRWL & GF. I got sick on Coca Cola, popcorn & Junior Mints. One of my fondest memories as a teen! :x

Oh, don't mind me, please keep 'em coming. I'd love to hear all your issues with FRWL, GF, OHMSS, TLD and CR.

I'll just comment on a couple of the ones you pointed out.

GF: the "rape" scene. If you put it that way, I would myself say it's a serious issue. However, I never felt it's a "rape scene" (if it is, I've seen much worse in movies, starting by Connery's own 1964 in Marnie). And let's not forget the context: Bond has almost been sliced in two by a laser when he meets the girl. She tells him her name is "Pussy Galore" (get it?), then points a gun at him. She's the villain's ally and pilot.Later on,when he escapes, she takes him back into the cell. Finally,in order to fool the CIA,she dresses and behaves as if she's something else and goes for a walk with him,all friendly. With all this buildup, you still feel for her? Making love to her is the very least Bond could have done to her in that situation. A real life agent would have broken her neck the minute they get into that barn.

OHMSS: cheating on Tracy. Again, context. Namely, the 60s, that's half a century ago. Back then,if you weren't married and were an attractive heterosexual male,it was more or less expected of you to do what Bond did. I didn't live in that period, but that's what I can gather from reading about it (the Beatles' girlfriends mention that they knew what they did on tour, Jackie Kennedy knew about JFK...). I try to see his behaviour with the 60s,free love mentality (which it was).Today,I agree it wouldn't seem acceptable behaviour for the hero in love with the girl. However, the Piz Gloria scenes wouldn't have worked if Bond hadn't "cheated" on Tracy. After all, this was James Bond and Tracy (who also had been around herself), not Ryan O'Neill and Alli McGraw.

    Did he though, in the novel I can only remember him sleeping with Ruby, but mroe because she was gulable and knew she would blab about what had been going on at the clinic. I never noticed in the film if he slept with more :)) why I love bond no matter how many times you watch them even if you watch them in a constant loop people spot things you dont. -{

I noticed watching Thunderball the other night. As Connery is packing the jet pack in the back of the boot, he appears to be having trouble closing the boot as he gives up and leave it open slightly, the next seen shows the DB5 being shot at and the back bulleting screen going up and the boot is now fully closed.

Think your right - he goes to jump in bed with another and has a nice surprise!!

Will have to checkout Thunderball for the boot lol
