To me if have discovered what is wrong with the new Seamaster the peril in the bezel needs a V shaped area around it like you get on the PO bezel. Looks just too plain without it

Still have the Skyfall Aqua Terra on my shopping list a timeless classic

    Cheers :007)

    Let me be the first to congratulate you on your new watch..... Congratulations! -{

I was in Amsterdam yesterday trying the new Seamaster 300 (wasn't my cup of tea) and also tried on the new and old Aqua Terra. I have to say the older one (like yours, without the polished center links) looks a lot better IMHO. My girlfriend preferred the new one.

I did have a look at both, I have to agree the new one isn't quite the same.

Perfect. You made the right choice. Now... what next?

Keeping my eyes open for a SMP. Preferably one of the older models. The waves on the dial made it look so much better than the ceramic. But I'll also see what bonds wearing in bond 24.

That is funny. The SMP never "did" it for me when it had the wave dial but I instantly fell in love with it when I saw the new ceramic version. Older SMPs are quite easy to find second hand and are very reasonably priced. Be sure to buy from a trusted seller though. Enjoy your Aqua Terra and remember (like I keep telling my girlfriend) THERE IS ALWAYS A NEXT WATCH (AND (BASS)GUITAR) :))

Think I was planning the next one while I was paying for this one in the store. Lol. If a rubber planet ocean came knocking I wouldn't turn it away.

If anyone is considering selling either their SMP. Or their planet ocean rubber. Or are just thinking about selling in the future. Feel free to let me know.

I prefer the old model to the new one. Who knows, I'll keep my eyes open. In the meantime the AT hasn't come off my wrist yet and I can't stop looking at it.

I still have it ;-).....got one not long before it was discontinued, so has the 2500d movement. Infact, did the same for the 42mm, as well! :))

    Both in virtually new condition.

Mine was the 2500D too. Got the last one from my dealer.

Not exactly a rare watch just a case of finding a minter version if fussy!!!

Doesn't have to be prestine. Like I said I'll be keeping my eyes open for that or an SMP. now it all depends what bond 24 has to offer. Then that's another one on the list.

Slippery slope from here I'm lead to believe lol.

So, after much thought, you spent a lot of money on your ultimate watch, can't take your eyes off it and then immediately start thinking of your next one? Yup!! I'm afraid you've got the bug!! And there is no known cure!!

Yes there is. It involves amputating both arm from the shoulder down and never wearing anything with pockets so pocket watches aren't an option either.

Where is the best place to buy a second hand Omega? I'm a bit leery of eBay because I'm worried it might be a fake.
    Thanks in advance.
