    love these " what if" type stories. Like SS-GB by Len Deighton. Which apparently
    may be filmed by the bbc .
    With script by Purvis and Wade

    Loved that book...I hope they film it -{

    Just a quick heads up - a tribute to Sean Connery to celebrate his 85th birthday. BBC4 at 10 o'clock on the 25th August. "featuring archive interviews from friends, actors and directors". Sounds interesting -{

    Yes, I'll be tuning in -{
    I love Sir Roger's story about eating in a restaurant with his son, when
    Connery arrived to meet someone, and Roger's son said something like
    " look Dad, there's James Bond" to which Roger replied
    " But I'm James Bond"
    " No DAD, The Real One !". :))

    Is Blackadder coming back ? :D

    A new series of top 1980s BBC comedy Blackadder is "on the cards", star Sir Tony Robinson has said, as long as they can afford Hugh Laurie's wages. Sir Tony, who played Baldrick in all four series of the sitcom, joked that they might struggle to pay Laurie, who went on to become a major star in the US with hit drama House

    Just finished - well, last night :D - The Saboteurs...I think it was called The Battle For Heavy Water in other countries...anyway, it was the program recommended by Number 24...

    Great series...good script, good actors and well played...I was glad it didn't 'dumb down' and had everyone speaking in their native tongue (where applicable) and used subtitles (where necessary)...

    Would highly recommend this series if you missed it -{

    I think the title is "The heavy water war" in many countries. I should know, but where isit called "The Sabotours"?
    I think it's a good mini-series, but they should have made it an episode longer to include some good aspects of the story that they didn't include.

    It was called The Saboteurs in the UK...I think it could have stood a couple more episodes, tbh...really enjoyable though -{

    So, finished Prison Break.

    Series 1, 2 and 3 were excellent... season 4 though 8-) oh dear.... it just kept going on, and on, and on... and not in a good way! The last 5 minutes were gut wrenching though... but I was mentally drained from the 22 episodes before, so it was a bit of a shame that I was actually wanting to fwd through some of the chases, explosions, kidnapping, double crossing, chases, more double crossing, oh and did I mention chases.... :s

    How the hell they are going to do another season, I'm not sure.... it'll be either spectacular, or utter sh*te :))

    A show with intrigue, a signature element, technical prowess and a show stopping finale, which includes most of the participants on their hands and knees. :))
