) One of the funniest parts for me was explaining to " The wife"
What a Jeroboam was and naming a few of Shakespeare's history
Plays.
I now convinced she thinks I'm an intellectual. )
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
Although speaking of good stuff on TV .
Does anybody record anything any more ?
As anything I miss, I watch on i-player etc so I
Have a 500gb recorder which never gets used. )
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
As it's the anniversary of the killing of President Kennedy
The Discovery channel is having a host of documentaries.
Covering all aspects of the event.

What about Not Going Out ? - the funniest sit-com on TV for years -{
Just caught up on Fridays episode. Very funny. It helps I love Xander Armstrong and Richard Osman too.
I think Lee Mack is brilliant.
He is also in one of my other favourite programmes 'Would I Lie To You'
A slavish fan to NGO, here.
But the series has suffered from the reduction of characters with the departure of Tim Vine: Dozy Daisy and the non-comedic, non-acting Lucy just aren't enough. Hugh Dennis might help if he is give more to do if Mack and Dennis himself wants it. Best series was series 2; plenty of characters to bounce jokes and situations off.
This series has been ok, Friday's episode adequate.
Next week features the deplorable Bobby Ball (well, I am from the 70s and 80s). Doesn't Mack realise what a gem he's got in Geoffrey Whitehead? Watch last Christmas' episode. One of the very best, thanks in no small part to the brilliant Whitehead.
Geoffrey Whitehead is a God {[] he's been in so many brilliant series
On TV and radio, a couple of my highlights " The worst week of my life"
And on radio " Bleak Expectations " ) I have hem all on DVD oof CDs {[]

Bobby Ball is brilliant in this - he's very underrated as an actor - I mean he's far better than people give him credit for...
Tim Vine wanted to leave - Lee managed to get an extra series out of him...I agree the dynamic was better with Tim in it...but the gags are still there - a far higher quota of gags than any other sit-com...
This is the final series...and I will miss it...will be interesting to see what Lee Mack does next...
Lady Rose...I concur...I love Would I Lie To You also -{

I know Mack has suggested - not for the first time - that the series will finish with Lee and Lucy together - but I wasn't aware he'd confirmed the show was to end?

His (almost) exact words were...'this is the end for the series as it stands, either Lee & Lucy will get together or they won't- but it will be a definite end to the series in its current form'...
Slightly open ended perhaps...but a definite end...

So not necessarily and end to the "Lee" character; the show either becomes GOING OUT or Lee moves on without Lucy, a better refresh, IMO....

Yes, he hasn't said it would be an end to 'Lee'...I suppose it depends upon what he wants to do next...
We have ,tonight on Quest channel 37 at 9pm, THE KENNEDY DETAIL, its a documentary about JFKs secret service body guard ,on how they dropped the ball as it were 8-)
) watched it yesterday !
It's a really great programme, those guys loved Kennedy and his family.
Many if the secret service guys, were crying telling of how they felt they
Had let his wife and children down. Several said they had served the previous
President ( Eisenhower ) who treated them like soldiers. Where as JFK knew them
All by name.
