Fascinating documentary series on " The Yesterday channel " called
Abandoned Engineering. Showing some amazing structures, in episode
One there is Silva's island ( among others ) .
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
I've been watching the rebooted Thunderbirds Are Go series with my 6-year old (my excuse anyway ) ) and I have noticed that the music is very much influenced by both CR and MR. Anyone else think the same?
Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
It's about an illegal and secret health clinic in a disused underground station. It's run a a doomsday prepper and a doctor who has patient down there who everyone thinks is dead.
In the UK, True Entertainment 61 has begun to show the Honor Blackman Avengers stuff. Last night, I saw the very first one of these I'd ever seen, and I'm in my 40s!
It was noirish, none of the Avengers theme tune, a bit Maltese Falcon. Cathy Gale didn't have her leather catsuit and Steed was Steed with his bowler and brolly, but a bit spark, livelier than usual, a bit spare.
It appeared to be shot live, so there were no outside scenes and it was all a bit stagey and dialogue heavy. Like the TV version of Casino Royale, if you've seen that.
Afterwards, they showed The Man from Uncle, but being set on the Siberian express, it too was not the usual fare. Still, all this may pick up.
Well, David Suchet's documentary about the deciple Peter is actually quite interesting.
And every Easter the radio has a travelogue quiz - "The Easter Labyrinth". The producers are incredibly good at coming up with interesting questions that are hard to google. It's been running every Easter since 1987 and I (among many others) can't imagine a worthy life without it
I too love that whole 60s Spy vibe. The Avengers, TMFU, Mission Impossible. A couple of
Others that never seem to get a reshowing. Probe ( Search in the UK ) and TR Sloane. https://youtu.be/B8PFvf7wC70

I don't remember Probe but I used to love TR Sloane of the Secret Servuce - also called A Man Called Sloane. Top Sunday night viewing! And brilliant opening credits. I saw Robert Conrad do a recent interview in Youtube, sadly he's not aged too well but his voice is still really distinctive.
Will look out for Probe. Did they ever show the 'hellfire club' episode of the Avengers? As a kid I used to have a b&w photo of Diana Rigg from that episode looking unbelievably hot ;% I've just never seen the episode.
I've see the Hellfire club episode on True entertainment. I think Probe was called search over here.
The agents had a camera in a ring or medallion ( groovy 70s) and a built-in ear piece to contact
Control etc.

Trailer for "Becoming Bond" the George Lazenby story.
Something to look forward to in this period of Bond darkness even if it end up cheesy )
Despite his flaws I do like listening to Lazenby

A simple idea, brilliantly executed.

I've known a few people do 'the knowledge' and it really is as hard as it looks and I love they way the the process is still so formal.
Good test of character.
Black cabs all the way for me when in London

I never manage to work out 'who done it?'
