The thing I'd love to know how come India only needs 270 MPs
To run the place and we ( very much smaller) have something
Live 660 odd ! :)) perhaps like call centres we should privatise
Politics. Get rid of the lot and get in maybe fifty Indian blokes to
Run the place, better and more cheaply. :))

The UK is totally over-administrated. The amount of people in government (local and national) far exceeds any rational requirement.

Ah question time aka 'immigration arguement'.

The only good one recently was when Russel Brand was on as it gave him the perfect opportunity to voice his views, argue his point and ultimately make a complete tit of himself in front of the nation.

"Why don't you stand for parliament Russel and really make a change?"

"Oh I wouldn't want to doodly do that as I'd becomey-wum one of themy-wem"

Yeah, you can explain that utter bollocksy-wollovksy in your next booky wook. Tosser.

I'm enjoying the new Bear Grylls series...where he is accompanied by a 'celeb' ...it was Channing Tatum last week, and surprisingly good. My 9 year old really likes him...so it's good together watching! :D

I can't wait for the new series of Midsomer Murders to start. It's one of my favourite programmes of all time.
Favourite Bonds: TIMOTHY DALTON and DANIEL CRAIG
Favourite Bond films: QUANTUM OF SOLACE, SKYFALL and THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS

In the other TV Thread we were discussing Midsomer Murders and Foyle's War. Midsomer is one of my favourite shows, But I really do miss John Nettles. :#
Neil Dudgeon does a great job and his new Sergeant after Jones seems great, but its not the same anymore. The scripts are rushed. the real mystery has disappeared and with the quirkyness of the characters we loved so much in Killing at Badger's drift etc.
I reckon they should of ended the series after Nettles left.

I'm nearly snowed in here (enough to make any journeys too tricky unless really, really necessary) so AS's plan sounds very good to me, too! {[]

I have just seen the episode of the Norwegian TV series "The heavy water war" were the sabotage itself takes place. I can recomend this sderies very strongly. Perhaps the most celebrated and important sabotage during WWII has never been visualized better. This story has all the ingredients: A tyrany trying to develop a horrible weapon, a guarded factory in the mountains, commandoes in winter camouflage skiing toward it etc. This is epic! Michael Bay and Danny Boyle are also planning to film this story and Tarantiono knows it well. Bay and Boyle migh make this story bigger, but I doubt they will makem it better and certainly not as detailed as this TV series.

This series has so far been sold to at least 15 countries, including the US, the Netherlands, France and Canada.

Since there are loads of spy movies coming out in 2015. Many high action
Fun films, like The Kingsmen. Has anyone heard if there are any plans for
    Any TV spy shows.?

As far as TV shows go. ABC are making a spin-off show of Castle, about the secret agent Derrick Storm.

Used my HMV voucher, from Christmas to buy the first series of
    Brooklyn nine-nine. {[] if anyone hasn't seen this ( E4, in the UK )
Is the funniest American " Cop show", I laugh out loud at some of the
    Jokes and characters. :))
Andre Braugher as Cpt Ray Holt, is amazing. He has to keep a straight face
No matter what happens, that's one hell of a skill. :D

Watching the latest episode of celeb apprentice on bbc1, I had to laugh at
The two models trying to figure out if we were in the 20th or 21st century. :))
They realising it lasts for 100 years, so that's why there's 100 cents in a dollar. :D
Although fair play to her, he said it was all her fault and was happily fired by
Donald " don't mention my full head of hair" Trump. ;)

I'm loving Death in Paradise. -{ I didn't think it would carry on without Ben Miller
but Kris Marshall has done a great job. An easy going detective series and not too
Difficult to solve, I was able to identify the murder straight after the killing in this
Weeks story, then again I'm just brilliant ! :)) should have been a detective. :D
It's also a bit of sunshine during these winter nights.

    I agree. It impressed me how the show moved on without the wonderful Ben Miller. -{
There's not many detective shows like Paradise. Its funny, but not too funny. and it does not take itself too seriously. great british acting as well by guest stars
