Which title of a movie do you despise?

LegoBatman008LegoBatman008 USAPosts: 189MI6 Agent
I despise Quantum of Solace, The Dark Knight Rises, and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice...(I just strongly dislike the titles of these movies, the actual finished product is another story all together.)

All of these. The Dark Knight Rises especially; I disliked it as a movie, but I absolutely can't stand the title, which bears too much resemblance to The Dark Knight Returns so I always end up confusing the two. It's supremely annoying.

I despise the fact that they slapped the name Casino Royale on that abomination in 1967! :v

Oh, yeah. I forgot about that, too. I just plain HATE Casino Royale 1967 and very much prefer Casino Royale 2006. But that's just me.

I haven't seen it yet, but Edge of Tomorrow struck me as an awful title--more suited for a soap opera than a science fiction film--and I think others agreed: the film didn't do well at the box office, and the DVD case minimizes the title and has the words LIVE. DIE. REPEAT. there as if THAT's the title!

Originally the title was going to be All You Need is Kill. Which... isn't much better to be perfectly honest. :p Still need to see it though! I've heard good things.

Could you imagine someone (a guy or a girl) singing "All You Need Is Kill" as a new James Bond theme song in either Bond 25 or Bond 26?

Basically I'd take the song "All You Need is Now" by Duran Duran & swap out the final word using music editing software. It'd be a hit! :))

The whole Film paints Turkish People to be backward. In fact, the Director even hates the Film because of that Reason.

I second this, edge of tomorrow isn't a horrible title, but live die repeat is perfect for the film.

Some of the Man from UNCLE movies (theatrical releases of two part TV episodes) had crazy titles, usually to shoehorn in the word "Spy":

    To Trap a Spy ( that's ok)
The Spy with My Face (that one fits)
One Spy Too Many (really? Which one?)
One of Our Spies is Missing ( ditto)
The Karate Killers (despite there being no deaths and zero karate...)
The Helicopter Spies (well the PTS had them in a chopper...)
The Spy in the Green Hat (not strictly a spy, but he was wearing a green hat...)
How to Steal the World ( I watched it, but it really didn't give away any clues as to how to do it...)
"How was your lamb?" "Skewered. One sympathises."

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit - Why couldn't they just call it "Shadow Recruit", without the "Jack Ryan"? The other Jack Ryan films don't have his name in the title, so why should this one? Does not sit well with my OCD.
    1 - LALD, 2 - AVTAK, 3 - LTK, 4 - OP, 5 - NTTD, 6 - FYEO, 7 - SF, 8 - DN, 9 - DAF, 10 - TSWLM, 11 - OHMSS, 12 - TMWTGG, 13 - GE, 14 - MR, 15 - TLD, 16 - YOLT, 17 - GF, 18 - DAD, 19 - TWINE, 20 - SP, 21 - TND, 22 - FRWL, 23 - TB, 24 - CR, 25 - QOS

    1 - Moore, 2 - Dalton, 3 - Craig, 4 - Connery, 5 - Brosnan, 6 - Lazenby

Yeah, it would be like putting James Bond's name in the movie titles wouldn't it?

You know, now that I think about it, I kind of despise the title; Star Wars: The Force Awakens but I can't hate it too much because it's a post-original trilogy Star Wars movie and I always wanted to see one of those in my lifetime... :D

Die Hard 4.0 is a more fitting title in my opinion, because the movie deals with hackers and the kind of terrorism they can inflict upon America by hacking into the right computers.
