    Hope it's not Ellie Goulding. Never liked any of her stuff. She hasn't got anywhere near as good as voice as Adele, Bassey, Simon or really any of the female artists that have sang a Bond theme song. IMO of course.
    I'm sorry......that last hand...nearly killed me

    Whilst I'm not a Fan of her Stuff, I don't think she's a bad Singer.

    I'm quite surprised by this choice.. she did the theme song for 50 Shades, hardly Bond league... and although I like her voice, it's not in Adele's league imo.

    I'm also glad Sam Smith has ruled himself out.. I don't much care for his voice either.

    It would have been nice for a group to do it... not that I can think of one... or Paloma Faith, she has an edge to her voice... but I guess we will have to wait and see.

    More hints that it's the Goulding girl:

    Maybe a decent choice actually, although some of her singing mannerisms do grate on me.

    Radiohead now front runners and betting suspended after punter places a 15K bet (insider info?)

    :)) Just asking, I know nothing about " Young people's Pop & Roll" :D
    I wonder will it be a Moody ballad, or another Rock track.

    Ellie Goulding is the front runner but I don't think anybody has mentioned it but I quite like HAIM to do it. A few of their songs have a slight feel of a Bond theme to them and I like them as a group. They've recently done a song with Calvin Harris and that's a good example of the style and theme of the group. The song is called "Pray to God".

    I reckon we'll get to know in the coming month either way as the full theatrical trailer is now with us and other than more stills and some clips on the lead up to the film , the song is the only thing we're waiting for , and perhaps another poster perhaps -{

    Guardian:

    The bookmaker William Hill suspended betting on the identity of the next Bond theme singer on Tuesday, after a customer in Middlesex tried to put a £15,000 bet on Radiohead having recorded the song.

    “The first gamble of the day was Ellie Goulding and punters were backing her as if she already had the gig, but just as we were thinking of pulling the plug we had a load of bets for Radiohead, including one customer who asked to place a £15,000 bet on the band at 10/1,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams. “There seem to be all kinds of rumours and the plot has had more twists and turns than a classic Bond tale, but surely nobody risks £15,000 on a hunch.”

    Radiohead, that's more like it. Or Muse. Any of those two would be great. It's a long time since the last rock band, Garbage in 1999, and that was also an exception since the Duran Duran-Aha-Pretenders days. Bond needs a rock band.

    Not being familiar with the band, I just listened to Big Boots online and was surprised at how much of a Bond theme feeling it had to it (even some of the lyrics). It they are the band doing the theme song and it's done in this style, it could turn out to be just the right fit - especially alongside Kleinman's animation.I always liked TWINE and thought it one of the best ballads of the series and Radiohead may turn out something similar.
