Are you guys worried that the next Opening Credits Theme Song for the new Bond film might turn out to be crap? Because twice Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli have proved that they have no taste in music when they chose Sheryl Crow over K.D. Lang for the Tomorrow Never Dies theme song and they chose Jack White and Alicia Keys over Amy Winehouse for the Quantum of Solace theme song.
I think Sam Smith has a great voice, so I'm happy enough.
It's just quite whinge-y at times and like a lot of young vocalists these days, they can't control their volume - just because they can belt it out, they think they should (yes Florence, you're included in this too!).
songs that arent the movie title are usually accompanied by several great rejected tunes so im excited on that end. also for people who hate smith, i hate him and adele. but skyfall was great song. actually outside of bond jack white and alecia keys are better artists than both of them by miles. but bond is a whole different genre. smith is usually a lot slower and a lot moody. he wont be able to do his usual style he will have to go a lot darker and it will have to be a lot faster paced and rock esque . at least every bond song since licence to kill has been. im not worried even another way to die was ok. remember no one thought adele could do it and she was great
I'm still hoping for Muse but in the end doesn't matter who sings it as long as it's a good song. Don't like the title, why couldn't they have just gone for Spectre
