Can only speak for myself but after such a long wait, to see Bond
Back on screen, doing some mad PTS stunts. Was Fu*king brilliant !

I felt a swelling ...... ;% in my chest, " Bond is back!" great {[]
As always it's perfectly fine to dislike or even hate some films, but I
Liked GE, a great rebirth of a much loved icon. Brosnan did a great
Job. -{ ( he may have many haters now, but I'm not one) it's a good
Bond film, with some great moments.

The audience cheered and applauded Goldeneye when I saw it too. {[]
Let's face it, the Bond films while rooted in reality have liberal helpings of fantasy - no-one wants to see a Bond that's 100% reality- driven, it would be way too dull! )

I must say...that moment in the GE PTS when Brozzer went after the plane...I was ecstatic. It was outrageous, it was wildly unlikely (if not utterly impossible), it was...(cue the theme song) BOND. JAMES BOND -{
I'm not a Brozzer hater, either. He had some fine moments in the role.
To the topic of Sir Roger as 'Superman Bond'...well, in my opinion, he was more of a 'Dinner Theatre Bond'...but again, he had some fine moments. He comes of as a Superman because he so rarely seemed genuinely troubled by his predicaments, apart from a raised eyebrow and a bead of sweat. While he's my least favourite Bond actor, I'm quite a fan of his work, both on screen and off. His role in 'The Wild Geese' is how his Bond should half been played, IMO. He just had his own opinion of how he should perform the part, and it was a hit. Res Ipsa Loquitur.

If you found that embarrassing, I feel sorry for you.
We had a similar "problem" here long time ago, but Blackleiter brightened up a little since then
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!

True, even before I'm in bed, the wife is laughing away ! )
I had enough sense to realise what I was seeing. That whole PTS was a joke.
Yeah, the Brosnan years were embarrassing. But I made my peace with the franchise with CR.

O come on! The last poker hand in CR was sillier than all stunts in the Brosnan years combined )
Worse then the invisible car...
