I just wanted to warn everyone to click on a link in a forum from an unknown person who does not even bother for a proper introduction.

That's the way a computer gets infected!

That's not the point!
It was a general lesson for all people here not to click just on something issued by a random person.
I could see that it's surveymonkey by quoting your post.

But I find it pretty bad-mannered to register here and immediately posting a (hidden) link to a survey without even properly introducing yourself - giving some information about the purpose of your survey and not even using the words "please" or "thank you".

I know lots of fora where you'd immediately get banned for this kind of action and rightly so X-(
