1. Perfect do. Rockhard hairline- never receeded a mm. Black.

3. Never lost enthuasiam for the role, no matter what crap script was handed him. -{
4. Was a natural clothes horse. B-)
5. Had the most economical gun barrel stance. :007)
6. Never got fat. {[]
7. We always felt his Bond really loved his female co-stars. Enough to eat them possibly.
8. Realistic & relatable 'pain face' (yeah, you jokers who laugh at it never see YOUR OWN faces in a mirror when you step on a freakin' TACK or accidently staple your FINGER ).
9. He's in the crazy vehicles himself. GE tank? TND L-39 FENIX? TWINE boat? 'Nuff said. Okay... Connery was in the Moonbuggy... 8-)
10. The heart strings tugging after-death smootch. :x

Brosnan runs like a girl
The overuse of machine guns in the Brosnan age always bothers me.
Besides this, I experienced him during 2 shooting days in Hamburg in person and can say that he's a modest and absolutely likeable guy in real life. IMO he's gotten pretty weak scripts and his movies generally suffered a bit in the CGI parts.
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
He's not my favourite Bond, but he deserves some love. I feel like there has been a bit too much hate for him. Each Bond was good in their own way. I actually prefer him to Connery.
-Casino Royale, Ian Fleming
Yes, that hairspray got those locks flowing beautifully..
Yes, but his acting wasn't up to scratch. He couldn't handle the heavy duty acting scenes like Connery aboard the Orient Express or Dalton at the Prater Park
He deserved to after the last one. At times he looked bored.
So was Rog. The elegant handling of Rogs' clothes was superb in the early films.
Better the the Dalton swivel?
Actually he did put on the pounds in DaD
Actually one of my hobbyhorses. Did he actually get on with his co-stars? He seems immune from Wai Lins and Halle Berrys advances and Natalya nagged him into bed. He never got pne of "those" Bond girl faces ie Sean and Ursula, Rog and Maud, Dan and Eva and George and Diana..
) ) ) ) ) I must say Brozza's pain faces were one of his highlights
Yes after all no Aston Martin, Lotus Esprit, Little Nellie, Citreon CV or glaston speedboat.
But he had the Invisible car..

Not sure what you mean. He did grimace after Electra Kings death but it really is small beer compared with Connery reaction to Kerim Bey death and Craig to the death of Vesper
I think you think I am very hard on Brozzer. During Craigs time the role changed, we expected more. With Brozzer we went backwards. But to be honest I am grateful for keeping the role going. For that he deserves our thanks..
He got weak scripts, even D Craig would have struggled to work with them.
I do feel he doesn't deserve some of the hatred directed at him.
sorry man, that Prater-scene is scripted and acted sooooo pseudo-heavy* I always 8-) 8-) 8-) and cringe when I see it.
*IMO of course
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Referring to a previous post. Like Higgins, I find the overuse of machine guns in the Brosnan films bothersome.
Realistic & relatable, or a laugh?

To be honest I felt bad being awful about the Brozzer.
They picked a man well known in America due to Remington Steele (that sank without trace over here) and on the films he did afterwards. He was enthusiastic about being Bond and he always seemed thrilled to get the part. He was simply outgunned by his predecessor and successor..
But I am grateful for keeping the franchise going. And I love the way he laughs like the rest of us about the tidal wave sequences in Everything or Nothing..
That's gone on my Facebook..
I consider this very negative. The sudden changes in tone really hindered his performance. Not his fault though. Obviously the scripts were weak and unbalanced (as in TND, going from a I'm-alone-in-my-hotel-room-drinking-my-blues-away scene to the fight in the recording studio, which is almost a Monty Python scene).
I think he did lose enthusiasm when he realised he was never going to play a gritty, serious Bond. In interviews he sasys he remembers GE and the rest "are a blur".
True, never really appeared fat, but he was the actor who gained most weight while playing Bond. A direct quote from Imdb
"According to the James Bond tailors in London, he has been both the lightest and heaviest of all the James Bonds. The tailors who fitted him for his Bond films state that in his first Bond movie, GoldenEye (1995), he weighed 164 pounds, making him the lightest actor to play Bond. However, in his fourth Bond movie, Die Another Day (2002), he weighed 211 pounds, making him the heaviest actor to play Bond."
Goldeneye, Tomorow never dies, The World is not enough, Die Another day.
Me names Bond, Jimmy Bond are you after me pot of gold. I like Pierce, I have no doubt fromt he stories Daniel tells on how helpfull he was at getting him ready for the role, that Pierce is a really nice guy. But he was not a trained actor and his delivery was over acted, it did not come across as natural. It was like he was trying fit in to a stereotype of the charchter rather than making it his potrayal of the charchter. I think that is what he means when he talks of his regrets over his tenure.

I have read he studied Drama in London before becoming a stage actor for
Several years, along with bits of TV and movie work. Before going to America
Where he got his big break in Remington Steele.
That sounds like Training to me . )
His role in the early part of his career in the industry was as an assistant stage manager at York Thearte, hate use the term but he "fell in to acting". He only really made brief supporting apperances in films prior to Bond. Most of his early work was in male modelling. He never trainined at a recognised performing arts academy, hence he is not a trained actor.
Craig joined the National Youth Theatre. And graduated at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama at the Barbican. Thats a trained actor. Joining a thearte and doing a few plays, you are not considered to be a trained actor.
No, that isn't accurate: "The Fourth Protocol", "Death Train", "Lawnmower Man"....

Is something actors say in interviews, in a humble way. Sir Roger always
Poked fun at himself. One other example is the Oscar Winner and Bond villain
Christopher Walken, who started as a Dancer.
Your facts are all in a tizzy here, my friend. And you don't even know he was a film star prior to Bond? Why are you even posting in this thread?

In the early 90s, he played agent Mike Graham in
and the sequel
Here he's second-billed to Michael Caine in the film itself, which is reasonable:
