Updating our "Skyfall Tie"

We're doing a new run of Skyfall Ties and darkening the light-grey/dark-grey squares to a more medium-grey/black combination:



What do you think? Hopefully these will be ready in January.

Indy, if you are reading this, can you update us on the Enjoying Death shirt? I have asked via your website, but no reply. I know you highlighted problems with your prototype, that you have addressed. I think there is a market here for a decent version that would be made to measure.

Nope... we made a bunch of these, so this won't be revised for some time.

The factory had a hard time getting all the flowers lined up the way I wanted on the fabric, so it took many revisions to get it to a point I was satisfied with but... the final design has been approved and the fabric production has begun. We're hoping to have the cloth just after the holidays, and all pre-ordered shirts will be made immediately thereafter.

Magnoli's website can be found here but the updated Skyfall Tie won't be ready until January.
Magnoli's ties are superb (in my opinion), I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Thanks Indy, good stuff. The shirt in your pic looks like it has a stiffer, more formal collar than the original. which has a softer , casual look. Will that be addressed? ATB

One small thought, Indy: the previous version I have of yours has smaller diamonds than it appears that the TF has. Have you double checked against a TF original and, if so, are you aiming to match or get as close as you can to it?

C&D, which version did you have? The V2 had a larger pattern, should be much closer to the original, but only the colors needed tweaking...

BRIXMIS, yes, the shirt will have a soft collar.

Hi Indy, the version I have is from last year... Not sure if it's v1 or v2.

To my (untrained!) eye, the diamonds in this old tie of mine on the right look a bit closer to the size of the Skyfall TF tie diamonds, compared to your previous version (on the left).

At any rate, I certainly like what you've done with the updated version, much bluer, I will certainly buy one. -{

Comparing the photo to my original tom ford, not only do the colors look spot on but it seems that the colors play off the light based on the angle as per the original as well. Awesome job Indy. I'll most likely be getting one of these. I'll post side by sides when I do.

Going to order the new tie, but want to also add one of the Madagascar tee shirts. Your size guide implies a uk42 chest would need an xl... But some comments on feedback seem to say size down ???

Can you recommend tge best size for me before I order...

I have the Madagascar T-Shirt (a great T-Shirt by the way!!) I am about a 43" and have the XL.
It's a comfortable, snug fit for me. Perfect, I'd say. I certainly wouldn't size down. But it really depends how you like your clothes to fit. Hope that helps... :007)
