I'll say Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as it's Fleming related but I don't care for musicals as a general rule! :)

Not a big fan of musicals, but have a few favorites. Was even forced to be in one in High School in a very minor role.

A couple of my fave are The Wizard of Oz and The Music Man. I'm sure there's more but I'm drawing a blank right now.

I remember as a youth in the 1970's watching Elvis Presley musicals such as King Creole and G I Blues, the Beatles Help, and Cliff Richard's Summer Holiday and I thought they were pretty good.

In more recent times (approx 15 years ago) I went to see Phantom of the Opera at a theatre in London and I genuinely enjoyed it. But never felt inspired enough to go and watch others. It was the last time I watched a musical at the theatre. The same since with TV, apart from an odd clip from time to time.

Jesus Christ Superstar & Joss Whedon's Buffy episode "Once More With Feeling": all else pales by comparison IMHO. ;)

Glad to see West Side Story got a plug; and I'd like to add another--Carousel. Who can hear "You'll Never Walk Alone" and not get a lump in the throat?

I've never seen anything better than Les Miserables on stage. Amazing.
If we're talking films, I have to go with The Sound of Music.

I'm a bit of a Sondheim fan with Sweeney Todd being my favorite - especially the San Francisco Symphony version with Patti Lupone, George Hearn and Neil Patrick Harris in it. Though the 1982 version with George Hearn and Angela Lansbury is pretty darn good too.

My two favorite musicals reflect a certain dual nature: 'Singin' in the Rain' and 'Cabaret.'
