I can't see any way EON would ever agree to sell the competitor's films in a package with theirs, no matter who owns the rights, but I can see how "All the Bond films gathered together for the first time" is misleading to those who aren't aware of which films aren't part of the series.

Nope, just the Brett series.
The Cushing/Lee "Hound" is very good. With Cushing having grabbed the part of Holmes with both hands and Lee being obviously unsuited to play Watson, Lee was obliged to play Sir Henry Baskerville- one of his very few stabs at a romantic lead (well, close enough anyway). Lee would later play Holmes himself four times, plus playing Mycroft Holmes in "The Private Life Of Sherlock Holmes". In "Hound", Watson is played by the excellent Andre Morell (perhaps the best Quatermass).
About ten years later, Cushing was playing Holmes for the BBC and did another version of "Hound" for them. It's pretty poor (not Cushing, he is wonderful as always) and can be found on

And no, MR is not a remake of TSWLM; AVTAK is not a remake of GF. Etc Etc. All EON films have different titles, and different character names.
If they did a film with a similar plot to OHMSS, but with a different title and different character names (other than Blofeld obviously) then I would be fine with it. I hope this is what they mean, other than full-on remake
Also, they have a golden opportunity to FINALLY film The Garden Of Death, yet instead they're on about repeating themselves? X-( The Garden Of Death has never been filmed before. Do it!

Definitely the best, with the most woeful miscasting being Brian Donlevy followed by the rather wooden Reginald Tate (imo).
