Masters of Cinema will be releasing a dual-format Blu-ray/DVD release of The Offence in the UK on the 20th April. In their efforts to woo Sean Connery back to play James Bond one more time in Diamonds Are Forever, United Artists agreed to green-light two projects of the Scotsman's choosing, no questions asked. The first of those was The Offence.
For me, grim subject matter but compelling viewing. Arguably, Sean Connery's best ever performance. Excellent support from Ian Bannen, Trevor Howard, and Vivien Merchant.
I hope so too. I'm a big fan of Robbie Coltrane. I recently discovered his 'Coltranes, Planes and Automobiles' series on Youtube. Really good stuff, interesting and quite funny too. I particularly enjoyed his episode on steam engines, as that is a particular passion of mine and I work on steam locomotives in my spare time.
Good news regarding Robbie Coltrane. His agent has told the BBC that he was "resting" and would be "fine", but that more information on his condition was not yet available.

I've been a fan of Robbie since way back when he was in an old

"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
The first image from the upcoming thriller Urge has been released. Led by Pierce Brosnan and Ashley Greene, the film revolves around a group of friends on an island getaway who experiment with a new designer drug that makes them lose their ability to control their urges. The picture is currently being sold at the European Film Market and so doesn't yet have a release date.

I have information from a reliable source that this photo is a snapshot of the moment Brosnan heard he was being replaced by Daniel Craig. I'm still trying to get a copy of the photo showing what he looked like when he found out it wasn't a joke! )
Sam Neill has revealed he was forced to audition for James Bond in the 1980's, much to his dislike. He made the admission during a radio interview.
....."in the early '80's I had an agent, who subsequently I discovered was demented, who pushed me along to audition for James Bond, a job I didn't want to do anyway."
Oddly enough I remember an Interview from Brosnan about the last big
Fire in California. How he was meditating in the back garden, and thought
He could see a golden light, opening his eyes, he saw the mountain side on fire ! )

Pierce Brosnan interview as part of Radio Times' art special.
Brosnan claims not to have given "one thought" to who will replace Daniel Craig as the next James Bond. "Daniel has made his mark gloriously". Asked whether Idris Elba would make a good Bond, "Yeah, he would actually. Colin Salmon also. May the best man get the job and may Daniel bring home the bacon for as long as he wants."
Bond Bulletin article on the Blackamoor statues/figures seen in numerous Bond films up to and including The World Is Not Enough. Blackamoor figures are depictions of dark-skinned Africans used in sculpture, jewelry, armorial designs and decorative art.

I've seen that Trailer before -{ I wish Dalton had done more
If Dalton did do Moore then that would be a whole new take on bond!

Fortunately, no one was injured. The fire was apparently restricted to the garage on the side of the property.
