Many things blow up during the course of the film leaving many messes that we never get to see cleaned up.

I noticed probably the first time I saw it in VHS video, mind you! the resemblance to Lazenby is there, but the one who really catches the eye is the one that lools like Moore. They give him a close up, and they are clearly playing with audiences, because he's inmediately shot, and you go "nah, he can't be Bond".
(1) The plot begins with his actions (the fake defection)
(2) It ends with his capture (not with Whitaker's death even though he's the boss: Blofeld isn't the main villain of FRWL or TB)
and most importantly
(3) The leading lady switches from his side to Bond's (a classic 007 story element)
And the "good Taliban" are what they are - can change the term - cant change the group.
So by your rationale Raiders is laughable too for having the Nazis as the bad guys now that we're all chums with the Germans?
I've been in touch with Barbel as I have seen that the poster has been banned.
TBH, I did not totally understand his posting (during the lack of capitaly and commata) - imo this does not justify a ban. But that's only my opinion and I am in the hands of our almighty mods and bow down in front of them.
