They would go for a black actress to make it more multicultural. If you pick Alice Eve it's just another posh white actress, and they want it to be more diverse.
I don't see why my post would get reported or deleted.
I think one of the reasons for having Moneypenny in the films
Is to show, that some women are Bonds equal. In quips, innuendo
And Intelligence. She can always give as good as she gets from 007.
Maybe not exactly as in the novels, but I think needed in the films
To counter some of the " eye candy" ladies, they've given Bond.

I am perfectly happy with Naomie Harris as Moneypenny. I thought there was great chemistry and great banter between them. As with Moneypenny of old, we're not quite sure whether something happened there or not but there's certainly interest from both sides that may - or may not - be requited.
I would very much like to see Alice Eve in a Bond film, but I'm not sure that she would have made a better Moneypenny than Harris as I just don't have any criticisms of Harris.
I also think that the producers have access to information, we don't.
I'm sure there are many meetings to see, as well as acting talent, what
Views an actor has on the role, if it's in line with what the producers
Are thinking.
So I think it's probably a long exercise, to make sure they end up with
The right actor in the right role. -{

You just got me thinking of the meagre extra features on the SF DVD Pussy. I'm sure I saw it there where Ms Harris is practicing her pistol marksmanship, and when she stops and lowers the gun, she is smiling, laughing an giggling to herself.
As with Ralph Fiennes as M-Malry, Ben Wishaw as Q, and Rory Kinnear as Tanner, I like to think Eon recognise that they want long term actors for the office staff, and this quartet have tenure legs alongside Mr Craig, and possibly beyond him when he (sadly) decides his time as Bond is over. I think they are all brilliant choices, and the level of investment in the actors and the characters will be to our benefit. - Every time one of them appears on the screen I smile, just as I do for Bernard Lee, Desmond Lewellyn Lois Maxwell and most of those that followed them. -
Discovering Ms Harris IS EMP was an early Christmas present for me in 2012. - Even if it meant EON had fibbed right from the start about the fact!
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?
Roy Kinnear turned up in an old Chris Lee "Dracula" I was watching the other day and I remember thinking that he would've been proud to see his son doing so well.

I expect plenty of " Office Banter" for years to come. {[]
Absolutely agree TP ... I think it's got the basis for some superb by-play between them.
