Inception: OHMSS, but also...

It's well known that OHMSS is Christopher Nolan's favourite Bond movie, and he himself said he pays homage to it in the snow scenes in Inception.
But I also think the Japan castle by the sea scenes might be a reference to YOLT, the novel. Actually I just re-read it for the first time in years and Fleming's description is very close to the Inception movie. If someone could really pull off a proper YOLT adaptation, with the Garden of Death, and Blofeld-Shatterhand, I think Nolan could be the man.

I'd like to see YOLT with its 'Garden of Death' but perhaps not set in Japan but Vietnam or Indonesia?
I would like to see him Direct a new Bond -{
Could be a good idea. Not necessarily Japan.
But Nolan does like his Bond films.
The Garden of death would be awesome with CGI. In YOLT 1967 they only did the piranha tank. Very disappointing.
" borrow" from than Fleming !
Apparently...
