WTB Skyfall Aqua Terra

Afternoon guys,
I've been a browser of this site for a very long time, so I thought it was about time I actually registered!
Basically, I was wondering whether anybody has a 38.5mm Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra that they would like to sell, or know of anywhere I could get good deal on one.
I already have a PO and I have been toying with the idea of getting an AT for a while, but as the new Master Co-Axial model is now out, the older Skyfall model does seem to becoming harder to come-by, and I agree with the majority o you know believe the Skyfall model is the nicer piece, especially as it does not have the polished centre links of the Master Co-Axial.
Thanks,
Ste.

Somebody here bought a new one recently so guess still available in certain places, where are you based?
I am based in the UK. I have seen that they are still available with some ADs, I was hoping to get hold of a second-hand one if possible, having splashed out on a PO not too long ago.
I had some faint hope that, as it is now the older model, some ADs may discount it in the Boxing Day/January sales, but I haven't found it on offer anywhere.
Ernest Jones did have a stupid 50% discount on the 41mm white dial in their sale, and I did consider that, but they sold out in a flash.
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Welcome to AJB don't worry we all started out as lurkers )
I was lucky enough to pick one up on EBay for less than £2k it was 2 yrs old but good as new (that was cheaper than my brother in law could get and he is in the trade). My suggestion would be keep your eyes open they come up from time to time (you could try the sales area on watchuseek they come up there occasionally as well).
If you want new one go to an AD and see what deal they will cut for a cash sale (never pay the listed price there is always a deal to be done this time of year).
Here is a shot below to keep you going
Good luck in your quest patience will pay off it did for me
Cheers :007)
Thank you Bond44! Wow that is a great deal! I saw one on Ebay today, its going for around £2.6k I think, and it around 15 months old, not sure how good of a deal that is?
I shall have a look on watchuseek, I haven't tried that yet. What sort of discount do you think an AD may offer?
I love the picture, although I am rather jealous!
Sometimes it's just luck of the draw it was a few weeks before Christmas a good time to grab a bargain
Usual discount at an AD is about 15% unless it's old stock then you may be able to squeeze 20%
Good luck
Cheers :007)

Some on Chrono24 but you need to do more research since its a window for various sellers. Never had luck on Chrono ever with any enquires.
Not only that, registration has been closed nearly a year . Or at least when I'm trying it.
You all obviously know a lot more about this sort of thing than I do, as I have never heard of some of these websites that have been mentioned.
It seems as though there isn't a huge difference in price from buying a 1-2 year old one from getting a new one (providing you get the 15% off, as in 007 and a half's post.
Hmmm, what to do...
Whatever you do I would not take too long with the new Master Co Axial version out now and possibly in the new Bond 24 they old stock will not be around for long current discounting shows they are shifting stock evrywhere in preparation. They have already stopped making them I believe (if you want new).
If you are not so fussed about new well I am sure being patient will pay off if you shop around
Good luck
Cheers :007)
Yes, I was thinking that Omega would probably stop producing it, in light of the release of the Master Co-Axial.
I agree that being patient will probably pay off, the only problem is that once I want something, I am not that patient ! )
Has anybody ever bought from The Watch Source or Watch Finder before? If so, how was the whole process? Good?
Thanks
There is one on fleabay if you search "Omega Bond Skyfall".
Not me btw
1. CR. 2. TSWLM. 3. LTK. 4. GF. 5. SF.
I am in London next week and plan to visit their store in the Royal Exchange so I will let you know
As mentioned before there is a 41mm version ending today on the bay
Cheers :-)
PS Here is a shot to keep you going :007) I bet that helps - not!
Like I posted earlier, I have the 41mm version if anyone is interested. Buying from a Bond fan, Bought directly from Omega, Box and papers, etc. None of the risk of using outside sources.
Can't find the 41mm version on ebay, do you have the number
I own the 2531.80 Seamaster and the Planet Ocean 41 MM as seen in Quantum. I need to sell one of these to fund another project, would prefer to keep the AT
Sorry mate I was out last night so missed your post. It finished 8pm last night
Cheers :-)

My indecision has led to the £2,750 one on Watch Finder being sold, so maybe I will try to be patient for once and hopefully track down a great deal.
What do people make of the one currently on Ebay? I am just very weary of spending £2600 on there.
Which day next week are you visiting the Watch Finder store Bond44?
I am visiting Watchfinders store in the City on Thursday so I will let you know how it goes
Cheers :007)
Sumner89 - All went fine I dropped into their City store (they sent some watches there for me to browse/ compare) and they were very pleasant and all looks good. I actually bought an Omega Speedmaster from them (non Bond related but still a damn fine watch with a great NASA link) and I am very happy with the experience. Trade in prices are low but then have to make something on them but may help some reduce the cost of their final purchase.
I hope this helps
Cheers :007)
