The monclear has a thick band across the bottom of the back, which seems to be evident on DC - the Canada Goose ones don't seem to have it, so I would think this is a better match too
If it was converted to fire blanks, then it stands a good chance they machined the breech so it cycled correctly. Unfinished, as they sometimes do with blank conversions, it would shine silver. It's too early to see what it is from that picture, but it doesn't look like anything Walther or Glock. More like HK USP to me. We shall see.
This is the Watch information I received from 2 different sources. How it will play into the movie, I do not know. These are the new "Bond editions" being released:
There will be 15,007 Gauss Bond edition Aqua Terra, Blue Dial 41.5mm with coat of arms and yellow accents. Gun barrel etched into sapphire crystal back
20th Anniversary of Omega with bond Seamaster 300 on a black and grey NATO strap

Ooh. I was going to say I don't care for the band the picture shows on the 20th Anniversary. I like the idea of the NATO strap though! Cool. I'm guessing they'll be pretty expensive.
Makes sense since it's indeed the 20th anniversary, I haven't noticed that. However I'm still wondering who buys those Omegas with those big arse gunbarells on the dials. To me they look extremely goofy. :<
Btw. has anyone a Seamaster 200m, codenamed "pre-bond" by some? It's relatively cheap in comparison to the current Omegas so it might be in my reach in the near future and I would like to hear some opinion about it

I've seen so many copies of that 'gun barrel' design, so they're obviously very popular, although I agree with you, they're not the most subtle of designs. That watch was released for the 40th anniversary of Bond.
I bought the 'Collector's Piece' Seamaster a couple of years ago, released for Quantum of Solace in 2008, as it was going for a very good price, although still in the £2000 region. It's certified and will not drop in value really now and it's the one Omega I've liked in the last few years - I love the simple lacquered dial and subtle '007' counterweight to the sweep second hand, which is the only visible James Bond marker from the front.
I've dropped many a hint to my fiancée that I'd like another Omega as a wedding present and the forthcoming Aqua Terra could be just the ticket, after I dropped a very large amount on an engagement ring last year!!

Assuming the on screen watches will be the new 41.5mm AT. Would love to see the 300 on a NATO on screen but I thnk they'll put him in the steel strap. Like with other DC bonds the bond edition had the 007 markings. However I still preffered the on screen versions.
Will prob backfire, be the wrong one and end up on fleabay
He who dares wins huh
Yeah, could easily turn out to be one from the Tom Ford dept of, erm, "flatering imitation". And sold at a price that makes Monkler seem quite reasonable.

There was 7 jackets(yesterday)from all sizes-now only 2,so someone has spoken....
The 44R sold out yesterday when I bought one but back in stock this morning. I guess Bond fans are chucking them in the cart and experimenting with costs or something!! I was on the fence, thought about it over a beer, closed my eyes and pressed pay

Yes but if this jacket is indeed used in film, might be very hard to find later because it's only available at Harrods.
And Moncler keep moving from season to season.
The same was with "Girl with dragon tattoo" Moncler down jacket
I'm wondering from which season is it
Can't see it in Moncler website
Not even in s/s2014
Yeah I hammered the site looking for it.
Do they do exclusives to certain stores e.g Harrods?
Also many Moncler Jackets are tagged as New Season on the Harrods website. This jacket doesnt have this tag so guess its been out a while over 2014
Yes it's quite strange that we can't find it anywhere else except Harrods
So I bought one for myself )
Anyway I,m very convinced that this is the jacket worn.
I doun't want to push anyone, just my opinion.
I ordered a couple of adjacent sizes early this morning, to see which fits best.....hopefully one of them!
I've hunted the net, like everyone else and can't find anything closer, or the same jacket anywhere else. This seems to have the same number of padded sections on the front as the jacket DC is wearing, the very dark navy, seems to be the right colour and the details appear correct. Can't tell whether the brown leather shoulder patch has been removed.
It's a 'punt' I wouldn't have taken yet, had they been for sale everywhere.

Does anyone have a picture of the Omega vintage remake? I must have missed news of this release.

Agree - I took the risk and bought it anyhow since it appears rare. I can't find it anywhere except Harrods
