I was just talking about this yesterday. The three previous Craig films have all had items at a lower price point (Converse, Topman, Zara, etc.) but this movie really doesn't have anything for the budget conscious. It seems that the beanie will wind up being the only thing under $200. That being said, this is looking to be the most stylish film yet.
The Sanders chukka isn't out of reach, though I think it's overpriced at full retail for what it is.
Agreed. And certainly more attainable than the old John Lobbs. But as a collector, and a selectively frugal one, I like having the option of screen accurate pieces that don't all start at a very minimum of $200-$300. I suppose I just miss the days of trying to track down the Ted Baker pants and the correct Douglas Pell. Now it just seems like a matter of money and preordering to have a piece of the films. The ticket prices are higher and there's less of a hunt to find them. Sort of takes some of the fun out. Anyway, sorry to get off topic. Carry on.
Just went to my local Zara to look for the suede jacket. No luck. However I have managed to get what I personally think is a budget Tom ford polo and Npeal mock turtle neck (teaser poster). For......... £48 pics to follow when I get home.
Also went to my local omega retailer. They have the spectre SA SM300. Don't like it. Deceptively small. Don't know how the GMT would work. They even refused wrist shots unless you were seriously buying.

Not sure what the tom ford material is? and Npeal mock turtle neck (teaser poster). For......... £48 pics to follow when I get home.

How does that work then? You sign on the dotted line and then click away?! Seems a bit over zealous to me - which branch was that?
Japanese proverb say, "Bird never make nest in bare tree".
Any pics of the Zara TF polo? Does it have a banded bottom?
Mantis. Please excuse the awful pictures. Terrible lighting (it's dark so lights are on) and awful picture quality. Will take some more tomorrow in natural light.
The polo is banded at both sleeves and bottom. The sweater is dark/charcoal grey. But the lighting is awful. Also the ribbing around neck is where the collar sits when rolled down when on.
I do agree the smedley is more accurate and is a budget alternative, but for over £100 on a polo shirt, some may not consider that budget. I would also rather spend £80 on a sunspel Riviera. But that's personal preference.
Grain of salt time, but John Guidry just told me that the Henry is the photo you see Bond wear in Morocco...The Henry in color code 52A, dark tortoise/dark havana

I've been buying the Sunspels since 2007, probably? The quality has gone up and down to the point that I'm hesitant to reorder a new one. I'm thinking about getting this Smedley polo in other colors, though, after wearing the navy. The cotton, and cut and fit are great, and different enough from the Sunspel, and the Fred Perry, and the Orlebar Brown. But I do like them all.
I'm considering the smedley having seen it. But for £22.99 the Zara, it's a budget budget shall we say. Personally given the price i would regard it as an every day wearer. The £500 on the tom ford is far too much. £100 on the smedley is brilliant for most. But there are a number of people who, given the clothing budgets in this film and others recently, would like something similar to bond without remortgaging. Yes, the smedley is the more accurate, better budget item, however the Zara does serve its purpose if you ask me.
I wasn't comparing the sunspel and smedley for style, merely that if I were to spend £50 plus on a polo shirt I would stick with what I know and that's sunspel for me.
Only thing with the Zara is the buttons / standard polo thing. I know it has the bottom band etc but I guess most people pay attention to the top half! It looks like a normal polo to me from a quick glimpse!!
Im sure more cheap options will follow when the film comes out which appears to be the norm.

That's really nice! -{
The trick with JS stuff is to sign up to their email alerts, because they fairly regularly have 20% off codes. Next one will probably be for Black Friday at the end of November. Plus that polo will end up on sale at some point and if it isn't that popular they can take as much as 50% of the RRP.
Shame of it is, that shirt won't fit my pot belly )
Matchless finally replied to my enquiry regarding the mr White jacket: it's not theirs! They supplied only the Morocco and Mr Hinx jackets (possibly the blue suede and not the charcoal peacoat he's been pictured in?!). It's starting to look like the mr White jacket could be Neil Barrett's...

It is navy. Again the lighting is awful. I'll post some tomorrow in natural light.

I did say it had buttons unlike the tom ford.

I say budget since its prob 5 times cheaper then the TF

Looks like a pair of Tom Ford branded Ray Ban Clubmaster.

Barrett did tweet or instagram ages ago that Bond was wearing Barrett in SPECTRE but never elaborated. I sent email but no reply
Was there not concerns about screen accuracy at one point due to some retailer posting this version:
Wrong jacket??
