$1300 CDN is a bit much just for a suede jacket that is not SA even considering it's limited to 700 pieces. Think I'll wait for a replica version or a budget alternate.

Chalk it up to another sh***y experience with Matchless. I've never had a good retail experience with this company. Any jacket I've wanted has sold out within minutes, not to mention their shoddy customer service. They never seem to stock the correct number in the most common sizes. Plenty of tent-sized 3XL or 4XL.
Thanks Paul for heads up... Ran out the ward and got a L and XL in the cart, all the way thru checkout, then my bloody bank security checked the payment... Got it cleared and L had gone #gutted
Anyway, got an XL to try but sure it will be too big ! If anyone has ordered a Large just to try sizes and ends up not wanting it, I would be most grateful to be offered it.
Come to think of it, has any Bond actor worn obviously branded clothing?
Yes. Sean Connery in Thunderball. He wears a Fred Perry polo shirt and three different pairs of Jantzen swimming trunks. They all have prominent logos.
Hopefully, it's not people buying multiples, so that they can fleece the suckers on eBay, etc.
If it is purely down to individual customer demand, Matchless would be crazy not to reissue it.
Maybe we'll have to bombard them with e-mails, a-la John Varvatos.
At this point I only hope that the accounting programme of Matchless keeps pace with the run of their site and no one will receive a frustrating "we are unable to fulfill your order" e-mail.

Someone needs to get on that Instagram page and say there's way more demand than that

I just had Matchless post on MY instagram! I had posted that they sold out in One hour...then Matchless corrected me and said 20 minutes...not one hour...
wow...bit pompous?
If people here follow me look under the image of their jacket for the exchange,....

I hate businesses that boast about things like that. It's one thing if it's a concert where there's a finite number of seats, but with merchandise the only ones who benefit from such a situation are the company owners/shareholders. It's certainly not their customers who benefit except for the handful who actually got lucky. "Yay...it sold out in 20 minutes, what a great company!"
After Friday's false launch and today's ridiculous boast, Matchless have gone from Clueless to Classless in a matter of days.
I can't say I'm surprised by that post, but it's still shocking behavior. And technically, it ain't sold out, Michele! There are still 3XLs available, and those will likely be there for awhile. Like many of the Avengers jackets that sold out in common sizes, there are still those huge sizes available there too, and that line was released back in May.
Matchless might have sold a few jackets today, but I feel they lost a lot of respect from potential customers...
You guys are hilarious. Just because you didn't get a jacket. This is a company that trades and sells in exclusive items, it's not Banana Republic. Why would they do more than 700 ? The whole point is for it to be exclusive. I commend them in their ability to have this sort of retail power. Yes, I know that's not what you want to hear.
Anyway, I would relax if I were you. All 700 were not on the website, given time you will see some in the official retailers.

but that was exactly what I feared- Matchless bringing it out w/out any notification for us- I had no internet for the last hour, had I known )
Kind regards,
Craig
