Once the matchless jackets are posted I should have in hand all sizes from small to Xxl so will post them up once in hand.

Might I say they are not all for me and will be getting forwarded onto the owners my address is just being used as a shipping address which I am happy to do for anyone.

I spoke to matchless today also and they said they would email me sizes across if they had it so might even have that tomorrow but the guy did say about sizing up! So measurement would be most helpful.

I may also have a spare medium which rebenton will get first shout at, but if anyone is struggling let me know and I will try snag one in your size, mostly in the house at present with my 9 day old baby :)

I ordered a large yesterday morning. I've been looking at matchless jackets on eBay to get an idea about size as I've never owned a matchless. Some of them do appear to have very little/no "tolerance in the chest.I think I'm going to have to grab an xl too while they're still in stock..... I'm worried about all this talk of sizing up. Would be very useful indeed to get measurements from the first Members to receive them?

Does anyone know if they have any in the London store? I don't live too far away and have some time off.

There is no London store. If you are a 42" chest then you'll need an XL, a 40" chest needs a L. Unless matchless have done something very odd indeed, which I doubt.

Arrrgh! All this talk of sizing has made me panic so ive just ordered a large just in case I do need to size up. Bank account not happy at moment...

It's like the Barbour Tokito all over again! :))

Yes indeed.... But on that occasion the advice to size up was wrong..... For me at least. I ended up with a tokito that was too big!

On the subject of the Matchless Craig Blouson. I don't question the quality , fit and exclusiveness of this piece , however I do believe your getting all of that with the Varvatos , the Varvatos is similar in style and costs nearly HALF the Matchless , I've got a Varvatos jacket ordered for October as I'm sure many are aware they're re running this piece in time for the film , so October is double excitement for me at least!!

I just think the Matchless is a bit overpriced for what it is , which I think is probably down to the exclusivity and connection to the film , also I don't think it'll get as much screen time as the Varvatos.

Overall I'm not keen on getting a Craig Blouson but I do like the style and will be on the lookout for an alternative , under £200 most likely. I took the plunge on the Varvatos though as the fit , colour and presence in the film , for me , is greater than the Matchless.

    All in all the Matchless is a nice piece but for the price point and the fact there will be plenty on offer as an alternative at a fairer price point , I'm not overwhelmed by the matchless and cannot wait for the Varvatos , hopefully in time for me to wear to the opening day viewing -{

Look, with all of these jackets we've tracked down, I NEED TROUSERS!!!!!!! Anybody. Anybody have any further insight into what to wear with my JV and (hopefully) my Matchless? I had several restraining orders taken out on me the last time I didn't wear anything below the waist....

I see your point and respect your opinion. For me this is where the madness of collecting comes into it. I have the JV jacket, love it and have been using it. I also love the look of the Matchless hence why I've ordered one.

Who knows how much screen time it will get, but it ticks two boxes for me: Bond wears it and I could actually use it. And therefore I'm prepared to spend money on something as close to screen accurate as possible rather than a cheaper alternative. This price point though is my limit. Don't get me wrong in some cases due to huge cost or availability, I've been happy to get a cheaper alternative.

You need to get on to Jany and find out about the London Trousers, Morocco Trousers and Mr White Jacket mate :p

Ive searched and searched each week when Harrods / Selfridges / Harvey nicks / Porter / Insert "other big designer shops here" get their new stock etc and nada!

Have a bad feeling the jacket might be custom rather then off the shelf - I guess most designers have now finished releasing their AW 2015 collections????

    but strange about the trousers.

Indeed, I know people who have the same size chest as me but wear smaller jackets. Shoulders / broadness etc also plays a huge part in the equation

On a different note regarding the TF polo -
another Tom Ford conundrum , the Morocco images show bond wearing what looks like a black polo and Remmy from jamesbondlifestyle also reckons that , its on his site.
However TF London has checked my order and said the SA clothing list their have is navy , grey and light blue only.
They say its probably the navy one in the stills.
    Here we go again :s

Same here. However, I emailed them because my apartment number wasn't showing on the shipping address and they said they couldn't add it because my jacket had already shipped.

I feel your pain man! My guess is that the Morocco pants are going to turn out to be a Topman or a Levi's type deal like we had in SF and QoS. That's probably just my wallet talking though. I don't think we have confirmation on either pants though. I've heard talks of a new trailer though, and of course there is the magazine article coming out, might be some leads in those.

Not even received that - order "processing"...larges still available according to the UK site too, which is surprising.

ok thanks but I think I'll give them a call or so.
It'd be really uncool not to send out the sending confirmation since they promosed to do so! :s

They are probably hurriedly making all our jackets as we speak! :))

I notice that the sizes that sold out yesterday - S, M & 4XL have not been re-stocked on the website today - may mean, they really have sold out of those sizes, or are waiting for more to be delivered.

Welshboy my tracking says it's coming from Italy.

Also just FYI my Account page still shows my order as processing although it's shipped. I got a tracking number after contacting Matchless with another query.

My credit charges are going through for my Matchless orders, and since the company completing the transactions is in Italy (Diana S.r.l.), the funds are being drawn in Euros, so I'm also being charged a foreign transaction amount which is an additional $36 or so. :#

For other members here in the States, are you experiencing these fees as well? I know they're pretty common for US credit card companies when dealing with foreign currency purchases. Looks like I really need to sell that kidney now...
