Chaps, off topic well from sunglasses and matchless jacket.. Just see this on reiss UK site, looks like the Mr White jacket style is very "this season"

... and it also match Remmerts information coming from Tom Ford Dallas:

"Please see below for exact style and color for the Tom Ford sunglasses featured in the upcoming James Bond movie Spectre.

The exact style featured is Snowdon TF237 color 52N

Please let me know if you have any questions."

But I agree, it almost has to be the black version.

So Dallas said this, but NYC, LA and London TF said black...guess we will see...and the earth keeps rotating none the less eh?

I was in Las Vegas at the start of the month on holiday and TF (my hotel was Planet Hollywood; practically opposite Tom Ford boutique on the Strip) there stated it was the black version.
At $405 I passed though and got them through Amazon considerably cheaper once I got back to Glasgow.

    I would just wait with this one. Snowdons will be probably widely available still in a few months, so maybe a BluRay version of "Spectre" will give you guys (and maybe me eventually) enough proof -{

Given the suit / scene these are predominantly seen in, I'd go with the 05's...

Bad form if TF are giving us incorrect info, if they didn't know they really should have said so... Rather than speculative info.

We'll see. The pics in the Event (Daily Mail) Spectre special look more 05's than 52's, but lighting etc can play tricks ...

May I all remind you that back in 2006 some members were saying that the Persol 2720's were also black and were screwed after a few months when the havana limited edition came out. -{ So I really, really would wait - unless someone thinks almost 300$ is nothing.

116/700 arrived this morning..... I was resolved to return it if not 100% happy as they are so expensive. I going to keep this..... For comparison I would say this size large fits like my size large JV, Barbour, and Billy Reid.... And my med Menlo. I would agree it is even more fitted than the JV.... Forgive the crappy fit pics.

My xl and l arrived too

Only had brief try on. Large is a perfect snug fit, xl gives room / slightly looser relaxed fit. Both great length. Would like to see SA fit before returning one.... Damn

OK as some of you know I tend to be a little dress in the style of JB and then go for a few choice items from each film (though granted I may have gone a bit OTT with items from Skyfall collecting a tad more than I would normally over the years - like the Istanbul, Enjoying Death. Shanghai Airport, London and Lodge outfits not to mention both watches).

So anyway today I took a flight out the country on business trip and was just browsing in duty free as you do. I was not expecting to snag one let alone 2 items from SPECTRE but seems Lady Luck or the big man upstairs was smiling on me.

As I say now I will be the frugal Bond collector for a while so long as the Long a Haired General is watching me anyway......queue the music :-)

So ladies and gentlemen here are some picks of my purchases today I give you the Tom Ford Snowdons and the Omega SM300 LE number 1xx out of 7007.

    Enjoy - I know I will :007)

    Cheers :-)

And the weirdest thing of all I happened to have SPECTRE turtleneck with me and so in character as well - it's a funny old world!

I received my Matchless jackets late on Friday evening. I ordered a size Small and then was able to grab a Medium when new stock was added. Here are comparison pics of the Small (#24/700) and Medium (#16/700) side by side (apologies for the poor quality iPhone pics as my DSLR is out of commission at the moment) -

    Matchless%20Compare%201r.jpg

    Matchless%20Compare%202r.jpg

    Matchless%20Compare%203r1.jpg

And here are some measurements to go along with the pics -

    -Size Small-
    Pit-to-Pit: 20"
    Sleeve Length: 25"
    Width across bottom: 18.5"
Back Length (from seam at collar): 24.5"
    Shoulder-to-Shoulder (across back): 18"

    -Size Medium-
    Pit-to-Pit: 21"
    Sleeve Length: 25"
    Width across bottom: 19.5"
Back Length (from seam at collar): 25"
    Shoulder-to-Shoulder (across back): 18.5"

I've opted to keep the Medium. While there is a bit more room through the body and at the waist, the shoulders and chest are just right. The Small was just a tad snug in the chest and upper arms. I plan on keeping this jacket for many years, so I want to have the flexibility of going up a size or so, and still have enough room in the jacket. I hope this info is helpful for those awaiting theirs.

    Kind regards,
    Craig
