These jackets retailed for $5800, and someone from the board was quoted $6900 to have one made...I know those prices are mental, but allegedly only 20 of the blue jackets were made in total...

I did not mean nor expect that Billy Reid would make a copy of the Dior Jacket but have their style version of it. Like Tom Ford did their version of the Sunspel Polo. End of the day it is a Polo Shirt. Same would work for the Dior jacket. End of the day it is just a Jacket. Matchless and JV jackets look similar, too.
Also I have the QoS jacket from Royale ... I prefer to wear my Baracuta G4 which was the original version of the Harrington jacket after G9 of course) therefore I would love a Billy Reid version more than a copy ... My 2c

Gents, I do not believe that BR would entertain the idea of replicating exactly another designer and fellow brand driver...
Considering TF copied a Moncler jacket and Matchless copied a John Varvatos jacket, BR continuing their trend of giving Bond fans what they want to use a quote from Pirates of the Carribean it seems would be "Just good business".

What is/was the difference between the 2 versions of the Private White ... love the jacket and want one ... but my better half said no I just bought Kentons, Aldo, Supernatural Solden and Moncler Solden ... not to mention Jack the Bulldog and gloves ... ... she has to understand, i have nothing to wear )
Does anybody know the difference of the Private White Bomber Jackets - i see a blue one and a black one ,,, and also i like the blue better, it looks like that the shearling collar cannot be detached ... only on the black one it says that it is detachable.
found the answer ... yes, both come off ,,, but now not sure about the size ... as per chart i would need a L (5) but usually i wear M (4) ... what to do may be a sign that I should not orer it?
Yeah.. I'm hoping Magnoli does the Mr White jacket in a navy wool (despite the Dior being cashmere).. Planning on snagging a Royale Solden jacket.. and standing by to see how the Magnoli Matchless comes out... Was able to grab all the SA Skyfall jackets.. but man.. The SPECTRE collection was waaaaay out of my budget ! At least I was able to get a JV on clearance back over summer !
