Maybe she was simply referring to Skyfall where he looks ragged to fit the "down and out" story?

What are your guys thoughts on Jany's comment saying she wanted a "younger more dynamic" look for Bond in Spectre? I think its interesting given that a central theme of SF was the acceptance of ageing, particularly Bonds.

The suits in Spectre look more dynamic in SP than in SF since they fit a little better in SP. The move from a full button three in SF to a roll two in SP also looks more dynamic. The brighter blue suits in SP (which don't look bright at all on screen, no fault of Jany's) give a younger look. I think the high-water trousers were also meant to give a younger look. I'm not sure if the many polo neck jumpers throughout the film have a young look, especially since it hasn't been young since the 1970s and we hadn't seen Bond wear one since DAD. I think Spectre's wardrobe was considerably more successful than Skyfall's.

For me personally it has to be Skyfall, It wasn't far off what I would normally wear myself, I've picked up several items and love the jackets. I can't believe he wore Topman and still don't understand why he wore Zara Desert Boots rather than (British Company) Clarks (who inverted them)

I was too late to the party for most of CR & QOS so have only picked up the Sunspel items,

I don't mind the Spectre outfits but haven't picked up anything yet, I'm a fan of Matchless but wont pay full retail for the Jacket and as they have added it to the new Summer Collection it wont be long before we start seeing them reduced (700....yeah right :)) )

But if I had the funds I would have probably picked up everything!

I think you can select pieces from each Craig film that will compliment each other and most wardrobes, I think the only really dating piece is the flared jeans he wore with the Sunspel in casino Royale, but the sunspel is pretty timeless and would go with the Levis from QoS, etc etc, I like spectres wardrobe better than Skyfall's due to the more diverse nature, the only outfits that I took anything from in Sf was the enjoying Death outfit and the skyfall lodge outfit, oh and some ob shorts. I've pretty much gone full tilt on SP outfits, except the suits.
It was either that.....or the priesthood

Been a bond fan since I was 8 and grew up with the Moore films , personally only really loved the Sean connery outfits as they fit my physique and style.
Always loved the polos and colour of suits.
The TD and PB ones found way too baggy and really didn't capture it for me all though I loved the films just not the style.
Got the omega seamaster 40th anniversary watch , 1 of my favs.
Not until DC came along where I got hooked and christ did I get hooked , CR started it off and then I've not stopped wether it's SA stuff or replicas or alternatives I love the style and his personal style.
Again the fit suits me as I'm a athletic guy or try to be :)) now 44 anyway.
I've basically got outfits from all but only the bits I know I would wear rather than just because its Bond.
One thing I can say I get serious wear out of them all.

CR - omega PO watch rubber strap - my fav
    2 grey sunspel t shirts
    2 white sunspel V neck t shirts
1 long sleeve sunspel polo (never confirmed , please someone find out)
1 Navy sunspel polo and cobalt
    Magadascar t shirt magnolia
    End scence tie magnolia
    Alfani shirt and pants
    End scene pin stripe suite

    QOS - black shawl cardigan
    beige jeans
    Ryder boots
    Royale jacket
    polos navy and black
    TF sunglasses (adore these)

    SF - bobby sweater
Crockett jones tetbury (most comfy shoes ever )
    all saints iggy cords
    Barbour jacket
    zara boots
    topman chinos
    ED shirt Harte
    PTS tie magnolia
    BR pea coat

    SP - Omega sm300 watch
    Npeal turtleneck charcoal
TF polo (ridiculously expensive but georgeous )
    TF Rome shirt
TF ties x2 navy and grey
    TF morrocco tie awaiting
    Esprit morrocco chinos
    Aldo boots
    Npeal spectral grey polo
    Zara navy suede bomber
    Dressing gown
TF snowdons not SA (we all know why)

All in all quite a list not forgetting OB tshirts x2 and rm williams belt , know doubt I've not stopped just slowed down.
If I'm picking favourites its the suits in QOS and sunglasses , casual wear in CR and I liked the climate outfits in SP.
Skyfall ones I liked too but take it or leave it with them.
    I'm sure I will continue

Same with me, I was a freshman in college when QOS came out so I couldn't afford anything. Only until SF came around was I able to get into buying the actual clothes, my first being the initial run of the Billy Reid peacoat and it just took off from there. As I noted already the SF wardrobe is still my favorite in the series, I think they nailed every outfit. And the branding seemed more appropriate and true to character then SP.

The list is too long for me to even start, but.... Just to add a slight twist

What is your favourite piece of SA clothing and what is your most worn?

My most worn is my tokito, my fave is my TF blouson from SP, and I reckon in a year from now it will probably overtake the Barbour for most worn too
    Skewered, one sympathises...

    1. CR. 2. TSWLM. 3. LTK. 4. GF. 5. SF.

Although pricey gear I guess compared to the Brosnan era we have been fortunate to buy a lot of Bond clothes and items since Brozzer was mainly in expensive suits most of the time.

My favorite piece is, without a doubt, my To Ki To. I wear it all the time. A close second would be the Islays.

That said, I suspect this summer will be the season that Sunspel Rivieras overtake everything. I bought six during the sales and will probably wear them just about every day.

Most compliments I have received? I'd have to say it's for the N.Peal Cable Neck Cashmere Sweater. Women always want to touch it.

    Least worn: Dents driving gloves.

My favorite and most worn is my Planet Ocean 8500 42mm

Other than that I really like the Menlo and TF PTS suit from Skyfall.

Least worn TF polo too cold here
Most worn Canada goose lodge hoody as its still freezing and brilliant coat
Current fav has to be Npeal turtle neck so comfy
Omega sm300 just love wearing so equal I guess :))

Hopefully once the British weather sorts itself out the riviera , sunspel tshirts will take over

Most worn would be non bond DC outfit pieces and my watches. I've worn the spectre SM300 le a lot in the last few weeks, far more than the SF planet ocean or my aqua terra or the non le SM300, lodge hoody has had a lot of wear this winter. I wear my Persol 714 for driving so they get used a lot, but jv suede jacket. Pea coat, sanders chukka boots and QoS shawl cardigan outfit probably gets most wears..... Oh and this week ob setter shorts.

The Sanders chukka's seem cheap and lame to me, every review I've read for them says they don't last long and the soles get filthy. Maybe Bond didn't have time to get to the C&J store for some Moltons? It feels like a random product placement.

I wondered if these were included because Daniel Craig liked them as a "homage" to Steve McQueen.

that's more then likely the only reason why the were chosen since Craig is obviously massively influenced by Mcqueen. But I agree, they arnt well built and seem to wear away easily.

    Most worn:

Barbour X To Ki, Church Ryders & Kentons, plus the Sunspel Tshirts and Polos (plus a QoS inspired Baracuta G4 ... which is one of my all time fav´s ... I guess Tom Ford was inspired by the G4 when doing his design)

    Least worn:

Menlo (also mine is black ... and the black is not done well, IMHO, wore it 2 times) and Sanders - which I bought because of steve mcqueen, just a week before finding out that they will be featured in SP ,,, how ever they are not very comfy ,,,

Do you confirm that the Sanders have a issue with the rubber sole?

I have both the Khaki and Deep Olive Abingdon bags. One for me and the wife. Great sturdy bags that can hold tons. Glad to see someone else enjoys them too.

I can highly recommend the JCrew Kenton (i have bolder color, as could not find sahara) and the Aldo alternative - both great, JCrew a little bit more comfortable for my feet. I wear both pairs a lot ,,, love them.
