    On the other hand, I believe Roger Moore would have pulled of DAF perfectly. Perhaps even better than Connery! -{
    Niceie.
    Nice-y?
    Dalton & Connery rule. Brozz was cool.

    I honestly enjoyed Octopussy a lot more than You Only Live Twice. Octopussy reminded me of Live And Let Die in a lot of ways. General Orlov was one of the coolest Bond villans ever. I felt sad when Orlov's own men killed him on the train tracks. Octopussy kept my attention the entire time. Roger Moore was probably the reason why I enjoyed Octopussy too because he's my favorite Bond actor. Over all I would recommend Octopussy to any Bond fan. As for You Only Live Twice it was an ok movie, but it was my least favorite of the series. I know a lot of people enjoyed it, but I'll just briefly explain my reasons. The story Line was nicly put together, but the movie didn't have a lot of action, and it moved slow at many points. I also didn't like how Blofeld acted at the end. Blofeld said "Goodbye Mr. Bond!" and ended up shooting the guy next to him. I wanted to hit the screen! Then what made it even worse was the part when Blodeld had a second opportunity to kill Bond, but he just sat there adjusting himself. Of coarse Bond got away again because Blofeld didn't just shoot him when he had a chance to. That's my comparison between the two.

    First of all, welcome to AJB.

    I assume that you are younger of age and a relatively new 007 fan.

    Though I admire that you like Octopussy so much (I am myself a Roger Moore fan and have to defend him here pretty often...) I think that you are wrong because YOLT has so many values.

    When I was freshly in love with Bond (a loooong time ago), I did not like YOLT very much but it grew for me over the years.

    See it like that - you have a great trip ahead and be prepared that your preferences and personal views on the older Bonds will change! -{
