My son has the original collection from EON productions in tact and unopened and still in plastic with magazines so unbuilt. . He is wanting to sell it. Where is the best place to do so and is it worth more unbuilt or built ?
Here's the link to the specific collection
I saw online on ebay they were selling for $2000 is this a fact? It was a buy it now price so I'm not sure if they got what they were asking. Anyone have an idea on price ?
Thanks

007storm gave you recent prices on ebay which is a pretty good indicator of the collector's value.
As you can see the price is pretty volatile and often depends on the right time, the right place and the right buyer.
Nobody will be able to give you an exact value because such does not exist. If it existed, these would all sell on ebay for the same price.
In general ebay is a good place for such offerings (maybe one of the members here will contact you with an interest to buy) and I'd offer it unbuilt unless you are an expert in doing so.
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
In the US they sell for far more usually, as in the UK.
The fact that it is unbuilt is a big pro in my book; that way the buyer can always decide on what to do with it. Shipping costs might be an issue if you decide to place it on ebay...
reminds me of an email I sent over Christmas. I emailed a guy for some assistance and his thoughts on something to get my mind back into making stuff. As we're all aware I've just completely lost interest in making pretty much anything, so I thought about doing something to get my interest and skills back.
So I contacted this guy after seeing similar stuff he'd made, and complimented his work, wished him a happy new year etc and said I looked forward to hearing his thoughts as he'd obviously got more experience with this kind of subject matter and his advice would be greatly appreciated.
I just got a weblink back in return. 8-)
Seriously, I think some people have just totally forgotten how to converse with each other.

"I've got this, how much is it worth?"
Now I don't think many people here mind or even care about people who join up just to ask a question, it's no big deal really. But the biggest problem is that you're looking for a definitive "it's worth this much" answer, and to put it simply, you're never going to get one.
It's not a case of people ignoring you, or not being interested, it's simply a matter of an item being only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
Markets and trends change, supply and demand goes up and down and to be honest, between films, interest in bond stuff goes down dramatically for the general masses. It's usually only the die-hard fan base that maintains an interest between films.
As both sensible replies have stated, use ebay as a general indicator for an item's value and take it from there.
Hopefully that'll be useful for you, and if you want to stick around then great, welcome aboard.
