The knife makes you wonder--how many props were used/touched by both Bond and a villain, since Kananga is wielding Bond's knife... I remember Alec T. using Bond's own watch from Q...
Alec's watch was what he was issued when he was a '00', it's not the same watch....
It's a very blunt instrument and you wouldn't want to throw it about, I guess.
It has no motor but can travel at speed,
There's not much to it, but that's all that you need,
On it's own it's safe, but maybe warm to the touch,
It changes it's shape and colour by... erm.... much..ly?

Sorry I wasn't more clear. It seems there are a lot of items and macguffins that more than one actor handles in a film. Alec took Bond's watch away and pressed its detonator-deactivate button.
