Personally I would love to see longer versions of the Bonds with deleted scenes etc but I doubt it'll ever happen. (Hope I'm wrong)

I like the way that the Bond films handle the sex scenes. Frankly, I don't want anything more explicit from a Bond film. In general I don't like explicit sex scenes in film and television, and particularly not in Bond.

I don't have a problem with explicit sex scenes in general if they fit into the context of the film, but I agree that the way sex scenes are handled in Bond films is fine as is. I wouldn't want them to be any more explict.

I remember back when DAD was released there was a small kerfuffle over the fact that they showed Bond & Jinx "on the job" as it were. I wouldn't even have thought about it if the scene hadn't given some poor movie reviewer the vapors!

As far as pushing Bond into R-rated territory (in the US anyway), I think it would diminish some of the wonder of the films. I don't mind them stretching the limits, like having 'M' drop an F-bomb in SF, but, to me, Bond films should always be about something other than shock value.

I think the Fleming novels handled it right. Fleming was more about the eroticism, such as Tatiana wearing a choker and stockings in FRWL as she slips into Bond's bed. The scenes with Honey arising from the beach in Dr No, with Fiona (as Chrisisall mentions) in Thunderball, and one or two others are perfect IMO.

Devil's Advocate for a moment here- how come we can comfortably have simulated graphic violence in a Bond movie, but not simulated graphic sex? ?:)

To put it bluntly, if you want to see a bit of shagging there are
