Out of every single Bond Novel, what would be your favorite Demise for the Main Villain?

Drax's Death by his own Creation is so wonderfully described, that no one else but Fleming could of come up with a Scene like that -{
1.On Her Majesties Secret Service 2.The Living Daylights 3.license To Kill 4.The Spy Who Loved Me 5.Goldfinger

    Yes, Drax is hoist by his own petard - I like that. :)

    I also like Dr. No's demise - "buried under a load of bird sh1t" as O.F. Snelling recalls a friend saying in his book Double O Seven James Bond: A Report (1964). I always thought that that was a good way of putting it - a very imaginative death on Fleming's part although it would have perhaps looked a tad silly in the 1962 film version! :)) -{

    Most of Flemings Villains received there Ends through Parts of there own Schemes. Mr Big with his Boat, Drax with the Moonraker, Dr No with his Bird ****, Goldfinger died along with his Gold, etc

    Yes, very much a case of "Let the punishment fit the crime" and of not taking your wealth with you. Very moral, Fleming. Just like Roald Dahl in his adult short stories, in fact. Moral tales. :) -{

    Live and Let Die: Paint me a fan of Mr Big becoming a shark buffet. And all Bond can do is look on with morbid fascination...

    Although... what about the two would-be bombers in Casino Royale? That scene is so vividly written that one can almost hear, smell and feel the blast, and the blood & guts splattering all and sundry.

    I've always really liked the death of Dr No, being buried in guano. Dr. No has a strange, exotic and almost fantastical feel to it (the 'dragon' and then Bond's fight with the giant squid), and the death of Dr. No fits in very well with this tone.

    Bond choking anybody to death. Worst way to kill somebody since their life is literally in your hands.

    Indeed, and Bond takes great pleasure in choking Blofeld to death. But the comic strip version of YOLT arguably improved on this by having Bond fling Blofeld onto the Castle of Death's geyser, which Blofeld had made Bond sit on earlier. This time the geyser erupts and before Blofeld can move he's incinerated.

    Scorpius being bitten to death by his snakes was quite gruesome, Dr no for sure and as well as Drax the whole climax to Moonraker is well described and oozes the pain suffered.
    It was either that.....or the priesthood

    My favorites in no particular order:

    (1) Bond with a hunting rifle and Judy Havelock with her bow and arrow taking out Von Hammerstein and his thugs in FYEO.

    (2) Bond drawing “Ten Pints of Blood” from Donovan Grant, via his groin in FRWL.

    (3) In LALD, Bond kicking Tee Hee in the family jewels with steel-toe capped shoes; Mr. Big’s huge dismembered head still alive after it was severed off by a shark.

    (4) Jack Spangs death via Bofors AA gun at the end of DAF
    "...the purposeful slant of his striding figure looked dangerous, as if he was making quickly for something bad that was happening further down the street." -SMERSH on 007 dossier photo, Ch. 6 FRWL.....
