Picked up a pair for £12 last week from Tesco. First impressions are that they're very good value for money, even if they last for 6 months!

They're not the thickest leather but they are lined with a semi-quilted material which is thicker under foot, so they're nice and warm for these chilly UK days.

They've a very solid sole too and overall, I'm quite happy with them - thanks for the heads up GG!!

A man who wears £15 boots hates his feet.

Not necessarily. I'm currently wearing them at work and they're fine for this purpose. I have shoes costing several hundreds of pounds, but I'd not dream of wearing them for work. You get what you pay for in most cases, but as they're comfortable, I'd say cost-cutting in this instance is at the expense of build quality and leather quality too.

Are you saying that people who regularly wear flip flops hate their feet as well?
