It's certainly more subtle than some special/limited editions I've seen and I may well consider a purchase come the summer, or whenever it's released.
I'd also be interested to see if another watch is released too, as was the case in 2006 (Seamster 300 with the gun barrel face and the large Planet Ocean with the orange 007 seconds counterbalance) for Casino Royale, also in 2008 (with the laser engraved crystal P.O. and the Seamaster 300 'Collector's Piece - my favourite and one that I own) for Quantum of Solace and finally in 2012, they released the Skyfall P.O. and the 50th anniversary Seamaster 300 (a bit too bling-y for me with that 007 face).
I need to get another Omega anyway, as my Collector's Piece is losing around 4 seconds a day now, so needs a service (and probably de-magnetising, from laptop use), so the mega-gauss Aqua Terra is the perfect excuse!!
Well I guess it confirms Bond will be wearing the production version of the AT Master Co Axial (I will be sticking with the Skyfall AT thanks) or they would not be offering up this AT as a collectors version.
I like it but glad he will be wearing the production version on his wrist in the film
Good news it saves me a couple of grand and from buying another watch!
Cheers :-)

COSC states -4 to +6 seconds per 24 hour period, so I suppose it's just within the specs, however it used to be -1 second to -2 when I got it.
Remember the watch only has to qualify in that accuracy whilst at COSC to achieve chronometer status, and just means it is capable of achieving that accuracy, but not guaranteed to perform like that daily. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Co-Axials are good for at least 6-8 years without servicing, if it's not close to that, don't bother and save your money.
I assume this indicates that one Bond will be wearing will be the plain blue Gauss AT? Usually Bond will wear the toned down corresponding brother to the 007 insignia piece.

The imbecile is right - unfortunately !
A decent watchmaker should be able to regulate your watch to the + side which may help you to ease the pain a bit.
President of the 'Misty Eyes Club'.
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
The standard one looks prettier - I was never a fan of all those 007 limited editions, although this one is probably the most toned down of them all. Anyway - paying a crap load of money for a 007 logo on the dial is comparable to buying an Aston Martin with a 007 logo instead of the AM wings on the bonnet - it's small compared to the whole car but still goofy as hell!
The Aqua Terras don't feel like Bond in my opinion at all, I don't know who's decision was it to take this direction instead of keeping the Seamasters 300m/Planet Ocean's around. Bond was always using watches with bezels, they look elegant and sporty at the same time, the AT looks more like a watch of a Warren Buffet type gentleman. The QoS Planet Ocean is the ubeatable favourite of mine.
Bond started with a Rolex Submariner in the movies. The recent PO's with the bezels and dark faces seem like the perfect modern equivalent to a updated Bond. Not as pretentious as Rolex, but classy and quality all the same.
Having said that, I wouldn't mind having the new AT. I'm not one to go for the collectibles either, but this one is in my college alma mater colors and I've got a ton of clothes that would go with it!
I own the Seamaster from the PB years, the PO from Quantum and the larger version of the AT from Skyfall. I will say that I like the AT the best and it actually is more robust than the other two. I actually think its a great "Bond" watch

I agree, the AT looks like a woman's watch too me, Bond should wear something more masculine like the seamaster or PO.

That's more than acceptable for a chronometer, a new one at that.
I'll see if I can haggle a free service should I buy one of the Spectre edition watches.

TP, at least at a restaurant bystanders can drown them out with copious amounts of alcohol.
