Many native speakers can't follow Shakespeare, so don't worry about it. We're writing a sort of Shakespearean-lite version of Olde English, the intention being to give the impression that the scripts are coming from that time period without being totally accurate.
The biggest challenge is modifying the technology rather than the language, and it's here that we have to be inventive. No submarines, spaceships, etc, so we have lots of ships!

This i understand. I just hopes it will not be too long before i am able to enjoy what is written here.

Don't worry, Joshua - I can't find my cameos here, too.

Not that Barbel leaves out the occasion to pull my leg with it 8-)
President of the 'Misty Eyes Club'.

Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!

Seldom has the expression "pull my leg" been more apt :))

Bond: "You drive in the manner of a London horseman on Saturday night! I prefer to do the brash and irresponible driving myself, thank you."
  • BarbelBarbel ScotlandPosts: 37,868Chief of Staff
Yes, that's good. And can we work in a hedgehog joke?

Next scene, Sir James arrives at a shoppe selling ? voodoo stuff... ? strange things....? (with a comment about how Felix told him to go here) and sneaks out the back to see..... (leads to him hailing a cab and going to the bar).

You're on a roll! This is going fine.

(Do we want the taxi ride, with dialogue between Sir James and the driver, or should we skip to the bar?)

At this point I'd suggest skipping to the bar, and perhaps come back to the taxi
Ride when or if we can come up with a few jokes. :)

I added a joke to the Bond's flat scene about "Bel Canto" as I think it sounds like " Belgrano "
I know it makes no sense :D

Fair enough, I've added the first draft of the bar scene to my post above.

I'm wondering if we should add a couple of lines above, where Tee Hee bends Sir James's sword?
  • Number24Number24 NorwayPosts: 22,334MI6 Agent
We should find a aproprate version of the name "fillet of soul"
  • ThunderpussyThunderpussy Behind you !Posts: 63,792MI6 Agent
I was thinking about Tee Hee and his arm, could it be from a suit of armour, or made of wood ?
With his sense of humour, I was mentally picturing Tommy Cooper.

Fillet of soul ..... Slice of spirit ..... Piece of Pisces ?
